ManaMinori 4,145 November 15, 2018 Share November 15, 2018 (edited) There are a few things, I've noticed, that will severely date the movie and not make it age well. That included the 'Ponies got the beat' track, Sia's appearance, the Gary Coleman joke from Spike, and the merchandising jokes, like "Hungry Hungry Hippos" (executive meddling, much, Hasbro?) Thoughts on these inserts and how they will date the movie? Hardway Bet 96 November 15, 2018 Share November 15, 2018 I feel like if references to Gary Coleman aren't outdated already, they never will be.
BornAgainBrony 2,397 November 15, 2018 Share November 15, 2018 "Ponies Got the Beat" just irked me because it felt wrong to do a "jukebox" number at all. They couldn't write one more song? Hungry Hungry Hippos will probably be around forever.
ggg-2 3,552 November 15, 2018 Share November 15, 2018 I'll see your "Ponies Got the Beat" and raise you the fact that they had a cover of "Thank You for Being a Friend". ......Then again, i loved the Golden Girls and i'm an absolute sucker for the song.
