Sphinx or Cerberus?

I'm going with Sphinx. Sphinx looks more threatening to me, unlike Cerberus, who has a more cartoonish and silly depiction.

I like Cerberus, he's just another example of the strange diversity seen in Canines within Equestria. We have one headed dogs, two headed dogs, three headed dogs, dogs made of wood, and dogs that are sentient and bipedal, and that's just kind of great. Creatures with multiple heads may not be common but the more we see of that cements the idea as a serious concept and not just a one off deal. Its something to think about, and I know Cerberus came early on but still.

The Sphinx certainly has the opportunity to be really interesting, but we don't know where it came from or what eventually happened to it. It just came and went and I'm confused by its appearance because it's so ponylike. It's almost like a cross between a pony and a griffon but the lion attributes were more prominent in the offspring. Plus it's giant I guess

There are hellhounds, and then there are soyhounds. Our glorious writers decided to go with the latter. Damn shame. Hellhounds are one of mythology's greatest treasures. Sphinx it is then.

She gets my vote. I dig the design of her, and she's cute. Though, I wish that she makes a return in any episode, if not Season 9.
