The Possible Insanity of Chrysalis

So Chrysalis is going to be playing a part in the big villain's plan. But I wonder... ever since she lost her position as Queen of the Changelings and vowed revenge on Starlight, she seemed to be posed to jump off the slippery slope. Heck before she was summoned by Grogar, she was carving Evil Changeling faces into logs and apparently making the environment around her similar to a Foreboding Changeling Hive! Like she's trying to recreate her old hive out of a desperate attempt to get back her old life.

What do you guys think? When Chrysalis officially gets back in the spotlight, do you think she'll go completely insane, or somehow recover?

Building a new hive is what always made the most sense. The "mean 6" was a missed opportunity, as amusing as the episode was. Just a poor use of her natural ability and the huge buildup of that plot got smashed in an instant by Harmony. 

She's a queen insect for frick sakes. Get food, find a suitable place to lay eggs, maybe someplace outside of Equestria's sphere of influence. Just start over. It would set up an interesting story for a future episode in the form of a hive war between Chrissy and Thorax.

She struggles to come to terms that she lost everything she had, she became isolated and after another failure she became desperate. That's why she was easily convinced to join grogar's team, she has nothing else to do, no choice. Its a bit tragic and it will lead to her reformation I am sure.
