"I put my Uncle into the ship's mainframe too. Im sure he would enjoy talking to you some time. Right now he is compiling a list of supplies we are going to need for engine upgrades, but im sure when he is done you two could chat."

EVA smiled "and i would be glad to meet your uncle miyst, for now i must check all the computers and make sure they are up to date, and make a list of components for the weapon systems."

 

midnight smiled, "i modeled her after what i think my mother looked like, but even then im not so sure, " he smiled sadly then perked up, "anyway, weapon systems need a little dusting off, but for the most part, shes ready to go on this end."

*Miyst smiled. A beep came from the device on her wrist. She looked at it.*

"Uncle just sent me the list. Im gonna go get those last few supplies to finish the engine upgrades, then we will be almost done."

*Miyst hugged Midnight then left the ship, heading for the market district.*

Luke sputtered awake and looked at his now empty surroundings. "What the fuck! They left without me!" Luke continued to grumble obscenities as he hastily gathered up his belongings and skedaddled out of the ship.

 

Luke was strolling down through the docking bay, toting his new purchases with glee. his brand new white gold-plated oakleys were resting upon the bridge of his nose. They had cost a pretty penny, but they were well worth it, as they had a computer built into them. He was jamming out to some dubstep.

 

He scratched behind his ear, and felt a peace of paper there. (Luke, go to the big ass ship when you wake up) Luke stared at this message in puzzlement, but then looked up and saw the NORMANDY in front of him. Only problem was that the hatches were shut.

 

Luke banged on the hull of the ship with his free hand. "LET ME IN, MIYST!"

Midnight opened the hatch, "sorry, EVA dosent recognize you yet, so she kinda locked down the ship," he moved out of lukes way, "would have seen you sooner but i was doing some calibrations on the main guns."

"Yeah okay whatever garr- I mean midnight." Luke quickly went over to a table and emptied out the contents of his bag onto it. Luke picked up each beaker, flask and test tube to inspect them for breaks. Luke pulled out several canisters marked with warning labels and quantities. "do you have any concentrated H2SO4 on this ship?" (10 points if you know what that is off the top of your head)

sulfuric acid? no i dont think so, but there are various stores around here, thats where miyst went off to, get som parts for the engines," he smiled, "thats possibly where you might be able to find some, if you look around enough."

Luke groaned and strolled off towards the medlab, following the signs. When he got there, he began looking throught the numerous containers until he finally came across a reinforced canister marked: 12M H2SO4. "Score!" Luke grinned triumphantly as he hefted the large container back to his work table.

*Miyst Got back to the ship a few hours after leaving, with all of the parts needed to finish the engine upgrades packed onto a hover trolly. She opened up the ship and brought the parts back to the engine room and got to work on installing them via Apollo's projected schematics for the ship.*

"Bison wrench, where the hell is that bison wrench?"

*Miyst said digging through her toolbox.*

Luke opened up the top of the container and poured its contents into a large vat. He then took a gold bar from the table and gently lowered it into the vat. He picked up the small device he had been fiddling with earlier and flicked it outwards gently. A blade that was about three feet long popped out of the end. The blade was comprised of several hollow segments, each fitting inside the last one when it is comperessed in the hilt.

Luke fiddled with the device a little bit more, causing the blade to detach from the hilt. He delicately separated the segments and placed each one in the tub of Sulfuric acid. He pulled out a high voltage battery from one of his shopping bags and set it on the table. He also grabbed some wires, which he connected to the battery. He placed the other ends in the acid bath and covered the vat. He walked off and began watching some MLP Friendship is Futuristic on his oakleys.

Midnight pushed open the hatch and looked at the main guns, they were beat up and in no shape to be used after years of not being used.

"eva, ive got a bit of work to do." he hooked a rope to a secure part of the floor and slid down and started fiddling around with the guns, clearing out old gunk and making the guns shine, before he got to the internals and fiddled around with the wiring.

*Miyst climbed out of the engine, having just finished the repairs and the upgrades.*

"Alright. She's all ready to go."

*Thats when there was a knocking on the side of the hull of the ship.*

'What the...?"

"eva, power test to the guns..."

the guns lit up with a blue glow instead of a red they normally did, "alright power them down, the guns are good to go."

he grabbed onto the rope and began to haul himself up, "why in the hell am i doing this?" he spread his wings and grabbed hold of the ladder.

*Miyst made her way to the outside of the ship to see who had knocked on the hull.*

 

"Hey Miyst! How you doing?"

*Miyst looked in the direction of the voice. The voice had come from a young man, a bit taller and older then Miyst. He had snow white hair, and a visor similar to the one Miyst used to wear.*

 

"Seras!"

*Miyst said happily. She ran up to him and hugged him.*

"Its been such a long time!"

 

"Its nice to see you again too little sister."

*Seras laughed.*

"I see you finally got the ship. So I came to fulfill that promise I made you."

 

*Miyst smiled.*

"Alright Doc. You got your job."

*Seras smiled and ruffled Miyst's hair.*

 

"Looks like your going to need some medical attention already."

*Seras said, pointing at the cuts from working on the engines.*

 

"What, these? They will heal up in no time. Come on, I want you to meet my friends."

*Miyst said.*

 

"Little lonely Miyst? With friends? There is a surprise."

*Seras laughed as the two of them boarded the ship.*

"wow..." he looked over the many consoles , he was guessing he didnt see this beacuse the power wasnt on, and he chuckled as he moved to a computer screen and flicked through some of the files.

he looked seras up and down then smiled holding out his hand.

"My name is Seras. Im Miyst's older brother. I'm also one of the best doctors in this quadrant."

*Seras shook Midnight's hand.*

"I told Miyst that if she ever managed to buy this ship, I would join along as the ship's doctor."

midnight smiled and shook seras's hand firmly, "well, its good to have a doctor aboard, lord knows what were going to be walking into."

he turned to miyst, " oh by the way, guns are good to go, and should be tighter then an asari's purse," he had a lightbulb moment, "speaking of which," he pulled up his computer and transferred 400,000C to her. "sold my ship," he chuckled, "promised id help pay for the olyumpus, so here you go."

midnight smiled and shook seras's hand firmly, "well, its good to have a doctor aboard, lord knows what were going to be walking into."

he turned to miyst, " oh by the way, guns are good to go, and should be tighter then an asari's purse," he had a lightbulb moment, "speaking of which," he pulled up his computer and transferred 400,000C to her. "sold my ship," he chuckled, "promised id help pay for the olyumpus, so here you go."

 

"Thanks."

*Miyst smiled and kissed him on the cheek.*

midnight blushed, "heh, no problem," he smiled, "ill be up here if you need me, probably fiddling around with the computers."

he hugged back and kissed her on the cheek before moving to the cockpit, checking the computer systems up there, making sure everything is working right, and that Apollo has a good feel for everything.
