Cannot watch embedded YouTube videos

OK so I don't know if anypony else is having this problem, but any Youtube video that's embedded in a forum post won't play. I have to physically go to youtube to watch it.

I'll go to click on the video to play it, but it just freezes, and doesn't do anything.

I cannot recreate the problem.

Can you please tell us the following:

- Your browser and current version

- A link to specific videos which are not working

- Perhaps a screenshot if any kind of error message comes up.

It will help a lot.

I'm using the latest of Chrome

It's on all the videos, not just certain ones.

There's no error message whatsoever, it just doesn't play.

I'm having a similar problem, when I try to open video sharing during a chat in Yahoo Messenger it just says "Loading, please wait" and it never loads. It's been going on for a while now.

(edited)

There are some Youtube videos dor which the user that posted the video disabled the ability for it to be viewed on an other site, so that may be it. I'll try to find an example of one of those.

edit: Is this what you're talking about?

Ooh, I didn't think of this. Yes, it's entirely possible that someone has posted a video which the uploader has prevented people from embedding. There's nothing we can do about it if this is the case - it's something you'd have to take up with the uploader.
