How did you find MLP Forums?

I knew about this forum's existence not too long after I became part of the fandom. Found some interesting threads in it, but I never took the time to register and voice some of my opinions until now.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

By surfing the web. Some blogger guy I used to follow mentioned the show (because he hated it, actually). Never thought there was an entire fandom behind it, so I decided to take a look at the 1st season episodes out of curiosity. I was fascinated by it and some of the fandom material, to be honest.

Hello, I decided to do this since I don't want to look more "suspicious" than I probably do. So what can I tell you about me? I discovered the show in early 2014 and became a brony since then. However, I had some bad experiences with some other people within the fandom, something that was quite dissapointing and led me to leave it almost entirely for a couple of years. Although I haven't lost all of my hope, I'm not as open to make friends as I was when I was younger, so I'm sorry if all of this sounds a little bit cold. Not gonna hide the fact that I have some strong opinions about some parts of the fandom but I'm willing to respect this site's rules and to respect everybody of course. Also, I'm sorry if you don't understand some of the things I say, English is not my first language. Thanks for reading, cheers.

Yeah, every fandom has its bad apples, even this one, nothing is perfect heh. I'm just trying to focus on the good part of it and there's tons of good in it.

Unfortunately Rikifive is correct. About every fandom I know of has it's bad apples, the furries (of which I am one), undertale, homestuck and FNAF fandoms just to name a few, and yes the MLP Fandom has its bad apples from the pony f...cloppers, to the far right  racist members. 

How-ever, the majority of people on this forum are actually quite nice, sure there are some trolls, you get that with every fandom/forum, but yeah majority of people on here are quite nice and friendly.

Hello and welcome to the herd, @Unblacker!  Yes, every fandom out there does encounter some bad apples but you're in luck because there are none of those here.  At least certainly none that I've seen.

Well I'm not that much of a Fluttershy fan, I mean, she's definitely my favorite among the Mane 6 (like I said in the OP, along with Rarity maybe), but I can't decide which is my favorite pony in the whole show to be honest. 

Nonetheless, thank you all for the warm welcome, I appreciate it.
