I didn't like the ending of the series, anyone else too?

They left a lot of things out. I personally was happy with the ending, I don't like how they changed Spike and Twilight's character designs but it doesn't matter too much. I didn't expect myself to like it from what I have heard from a lot of other people (If the MLP fanbase didn't like the finale, then I sure wouldn't) but I actually ended up surprised and I was mostly happy with what they did. I'm currently working on a story that wraps up all the things they left out and adds some more things to the story. Don't know if I will share it with anyone; as it's mainly meant for myself, and a lot of people probably wouldn't be happy with the direction I am going in.
