Foam/Sponge Pits: What were your experiences with them?

You may recall me discussing about ball pits but there's one other pit that I'm curious about...foam/sponge pits...usually found in gymnastics studios...those large holes filled with cubed pieces of foam to create very soft landings. Most foam pits are characterized as loose, meaning a hole is filled with the foam cubes. Nowadays, in some places, foam is packed into a single soft pad. So, have you had any experiences with foam pits?

I used to be afraid of them. I didn't like the feeling of the foam, even though it was very soft. Now, I'm totally over it. At my local trampoline park, I do various flips into a foam pit. I must say, loose foam pits can be really hard to get out of. 

So, what are your experiences with foam pits?

I have never encountered one of these but to be honest I am seriously intrigued! I want to try one, and I don't mind if they're hard to climb out of; it's all part of the challenge. Now I've got to find one somewhere.

If you have one of those trampoline parks near you, there may be a foam pit there. Feels like you're landing on a super soft cloud.

I'm sure there must be something close-by. I'm going to do some looking around and get myself into one of those lovely cloud pits! I love stuff like that.

Yea, I love doing flips into them knowing I'll be safe because of a soft landing. Sometimes, I think about cuddling in one and falling asleep...

Remembering what happened with that one Twitch streamer who jumped into one and got a permanent back injury, I think I can live just fine without experiencing foam pits.

Yeah after seeing what happened to the twitch streamer I’ll pass on the foam pit. Jumping on some foam isn’t worth a potential life changing injury.

I like them. I haven't been to a trampoline park in a while, but I remember stacking the cubes on top of each other, making walls, and doing flips over them into the pit. Or just crashing into them. Both options equally fun.
