An interesting What If idea for Season 9

I know everyone and everypony's mostly moved on to G5, but I had an interesting idea for something that could've happened in the final season that I'm shocked the writers didn't try. Since they know Scorpan helped defeat Tirek back during his first attempt at conquest, why not track him down and enlist his help for this round?

 

And I know just the actor who would've been a perfect choice to voice him: Ron Perlman. He could've portrayed Scorpan as as calm, wise and compassionate individual. Think his character Vincent from the late 80s Beauty and the Beast show.

Yes, they should have used Scorpan. They could have kept going to Season 10 as well. The gap between G4 and G5 was too huge and they skipped important storytelling

Agreed. If Tirek was still around, who's to say Scorpan wasn't?

Even with Grogar being "around", Scorpan should have been around.

I don't know why the writes chose to go with the School Six in Season 9, when they weren't even good picks for toys. There was a lot of potential wasted in Season 9 for sure.

The movie split a lot of attention.

 

Though I feel Equestria Girls not getting an actual ending was worse IMO.

Movie was weird. Twilight being a thief didn't fit her personality or "Princess of the entire Equestria" responsibility. Just had to say that

They built up them (the girls) to have magical powers, and then they did almost nothing. Felt like they put too much attention on Equestria Girls to begin with, and then just threw it all away.

Ponies will always be my interest, so Equestria Girls only got my attention when they turned into ponies, and not when they were singing rap on a yacht

 

Scorpan also had the potential to have a really good design for G4. Tirek was all thin and weak looking in the beginning. I believe Scorpan should have looked like some god out of Disney's Hercules in design, with a big grin on his face.

She only did what she did because she was desperate due to a. the other 3 princesses being turned to stone and b. Being chased the whole damn movie. Twilight stopped thinking straight after a while.
