EG vs G1 world crossing?

G1 vs EG which world to world cross over sounds better: the G1 rules or the EG rules?

 

(G1 rules are ponies and humans do NOT transform when crossing over to each other's world and EG is they do transform)

I'd probably have to say Equestria Girls through concept alone. It does sound interesting, but I don't think it was executed very well.  The inhabitants of The Mirror World look more like sirens or demons than they do actual humans.
