As Queen Chrysalis fired the shot of magical energy towards the group Starkisses felt his mind's perception see it almost in slow motion, his heart beating a million times a second.

There was no way he had the skills or energy to block it but if he could hit her with enough magical counter force he should be hit with the brunt of things protecting the others...

He launched forward horn charging energy connecting magic blast to magic blast...

Soon the explosion would've knocked the whole group back, With Ghost frozen in fear before the Queen bug hovered over to them and placed them in a Cocoon, All with a smirk on her face before flying away with the Ghostling. 

[Orange Swirl (Dizzy Twister)]

Orange would focus on training her new powers, a tiny cyan spot would appear on the outside of the cocoon, and soon a hole appeared in the silky cocoon, "there! That oughta do the trick!" Orange said, blowing a puff of smoke from "her" horn.

Sustaining considerable damage, even after Orange freed the group Starkisses wasn't moving or even opening his eyes.

Although his body didn't appear to be too badly hurt SOMETHING was clearly not right with him as if he wasn't quite there.

"I agree with you but we need a plan first! We can't save him in our current state! We know nothing about the abilities of the others, or I should say our own abilities! Can you do something else with your body that is not flying?" Shiny was clearly suffering from her anxiety because of the fact that she could do nothing with the body of a pegasus except flying. She could have blocked the blast of Queen with her Safety Dome and stopped her from flying away with Ghostie but she didn't have an horn. She felt powerless to help her friend and it was causing her a lot of stress.

"I'm good with engineering, does that count??" Orange said in a blind panic, "maybe if someone can get to my tools!" she added, but she thought 'who's gonna do that!?' she looked to her right and saw Glorixel! "Glorixel, can you go get my tools in Cloudsdale?" Orange asked the fused mare. Glorixel nodded and flew away, Orange sighed in relief.

Edit: Might actually be better if ya'll are Semi-normal, As in you look normal now... but haven't been returned to your race with abilites so Shiny would still be a pegasus still. As it might help feel the pain Ghost felt being powerless. ;3

Slowly he began to stir, unsure of how long the passage of time had passed from when he had been knocked out.

He tried to speak his voice barely a whimper.

"He..hel...it ..hurts..or...Oran... Twi..  what..?"

His throat and mouth feeling in fire he could speak no further, luckily at that time Twilight and the others although not hearing him well could see his clearly weakened state and tried to help him out

However, the mare suddenly understood that Orange Swirl was as anxious as she was. She then took a deep breath and said with a calm voice "It's okay... We will find a solution together, Orange. I promise you that everything will be alright."

When Kuya arrived, Shiny Silvermoon explained him what happened.

Ghost would've found himself trapped, Unable to move inside of a Cocoon, Soon He spotted the Queen, sitting in a throne watching other Cocoon's being drained not of love... But Magik, it seemed she switched over but for what cause ?, That was unknown to him right now. But He would've found himself now in a empty void, watching the event of his owner's Demise over and over again.

Orange looked at Kuya, "Even If I am technically myself, I still have Shiny's horn, so maybe I can use it to cast a seeing spell to try to find where they are!" she said, and then she started to focus hard... A puff of cyan magic appeared and Orange saw a cocoon (Ghostie, she presumed) and Chrysalis, the area in which the two were located looked familiar!  "That must be Chrysalis's lair!" Orange said with her eyes closed., "We must hurry!" she added as her eyes snapped open, she turned to Shiny and Kuya (Plus Candy and Glorixel and Minty).

" hmmm I've seen how weak the ponies here are... Say? How fast can you ponies trot?" Kuya asked.

Kuya was of the past and running was their mode of transportation. Hence he is one fast Pony. He can easily out run rainbowdash even if she is flying... Except when she rainbooms or if there's traffic.
