Do you like Flash Sentry? Why or why not?

soooo uhhhh i recently rewatched rainbow rocks and i was wondering whether any of y'all like flash sentry (a.k.a brad), and if so why (or why not)?

I do like Flash Sentry! I don't really have any reason to dislike him! In fact, the only time he was against Twilight and her friends was when everypony was against everypony becaus of the Dazzlings! Otherwise, he was always on the good side!

As for the question, I was never much of a Flash fan until LoE. I think that movie gave him a lot more depth, so I didn't mind him from that point onwards.

I am not a fan of Flash. He was essentially a token "love interest" for Twilight, and didn't really have any significance to the movies outside of that. Kind of a pointless character.

Personally,I think Flash is a nice guy.He was always eager to help the girls as much as he could.But I still having a hard time accepting that a man who suddenly appears without any backstory turns into Twilight's boyfrend.It's like one day your single mom suddenly brings back a strange man and tell you he's going to be your new dad.Even if you know he's a good gay, it's still hard for you to accept him.

As a love interest, I think he exists, now as a side character I think he was pretty cool

I think it would have been much better if they had made him a a guide for Twilight to get used to the human world, be some kind of smart boy who is always there to help, trying to make him a romantic partner for a character who won't have any impact by the relationship with him because the events of these films are "ignored" by the main continuity was a kind of dumb choice for me, and Human World Twilight swaps him for another guy in Movie 4, so the character not only failed with his purpose for one Twilight but for two Twilights, think of an unlucky guy

I don't hate or like him. I wish we had a backstory or detailed facts about him so we could learn about him more, but I kinda also feel bad for him because whenever he sees Sci Twi it reminds him of the Pony Word Twilight. Generally, he looks like a fun character.

He had no reason to exist other than to be a love interest for Twilight which didn’t end up going anywhere. He was totally bland with no personality.

Coming back with some additional thoughts on Flash: If Hasbro wanted to make him a recurring character, then I wish they would have explored his friendship with Micro Chips and Sandalwood, which was hinted at in this Friendship Games short. I feel like they could have had a "three guys" dynamic similar to Spike, Big Mac and Discord in FiM, which would have been a lot better than the repetitive ship-teases with Sci-Twi and Sunset that never actually went anywhere.

These are the major things for me with Flash Sentry. I didn't think we needed a LI for Twilight at all and it added nothing to the plot or either of their characters aside from giggling. Plenty was going on in the movies without Flash Sentry and I don't think he particularly fit Twilight either. He read very ick to me probably because there was no chemistry or build up.

Now THIS would've been better in establishing him as something other than a trope. Forced love interests for me in media always makes me go: WHY. It rarely works. I don't know he just wasn't anything special to me because they never gave him the chance, I think.
