One of the changelings, who appeared to the forums facilitator, tapped a gong before saying "We have some new guests with us today. Please welcome Princess Twilight, Princess Skylight, and Shiny."

"Hello there," both Princess Twilight and Skylight remarked as they waved to the changelings already seated in the circle. They would find a seat where there was space with Twilight in between Thorax and Skylight.

"So what brings you all here today?" the forums facilitator asked the new arrivals.

"Howdy! It's an honor for me to be able to experience this newborn way of sharing feelings with others!" Shiny Silvermoon beamed to the forums facilitator and the other changelings, as she took a seat next to Skylight.

"We are here because Princess Twilight seems to have troubles to believe that I have a deep connection with the Moon! I admit that it might be hard for somepony to believe that I can communicate with it but, in my opinion, Princess Twilight and Skylight should give me their trust, if they want to be my friend! I'm not mad or sad, but I can't give them a proof right now because I can't decide when exactly a proof will arrive!" The unicorn explained her problem, while the changelings were listening.

"I see," the forum facilitator replied before turning to Twilight.

"And how does that make you feel?" 

Twilight blushed slightly, feeling a little embarrassed over how much every creature was talking about what she thought was a minor issue. "Well, I asked Shiny about how she got her connection to the moon. She replied saying that it wasn't important. To me, it felt like she was saying my question wasn't important. I know, this is probably something silly to argue about... However, I'm willing to believe her if she can show it! It's just that I don't like to believe things that don't appear to make sense without seeing proof..."

There was some murmuring among the changelings as they pondered what was said.

"Ok, Twilight says what you said made her feel like her question wasn't important. What do you have to say?" the forum facilitator asked as she turned back to Shiny. 

Thorax would nudge Skylight subtly with his magic. Skylight would note this with a nod and steal a quick glance at Shiny before glancing at the ceiling as her horn lit up. With this, a magical spell would be cast over the three ponies, allowing them to temporarily taste each other's feelings.

But, as a way to show you my good intentions, I'll reveal to you that the Moon came to my help so I could do the right thing, when nopony else could." Shiny Silvermoon awkwardly said to the Princess of Friendship, as if forced. With the emotions being shared due to Skylight's spell, Twilight could feel that I was extremely embarrassed.

"I'll give you a proof tonight but you'll have to work for it, Twilight. If you can turn the current normal moon of tonight into a Pink Moon, which is a ridiculous name since the Moon has a golden hue during a Pink Moon, you'll have a proof!"

Shiny's awkward embarrassment seemed to contribute to Thorax's, Skylight's, and Twilight's embarrassment, which was further reflected with even more embarrassment until both alicorns were blushing up a storm. By then, Skylight was holding a large leaf to hide her face behind, but it did nothing to hide her emotions.

As you can see, the feelings forum is about understanding each other and resolving conflicts through clear communication and compromise," Thorax explained. The rest of the changelings nodded in agreement.

If Shiny didn't have anything else to say about the issue, a teal changeling would speak up. "I think it's really nice that ordinary ponies like you are interested in learning about us. We wish more ponies would take the time to get to understand us instead of assuming that we're still going to attack them and steal their love."

Soon, the topic would shift to the process of rebuilding the hive. Several different changelings argued whether the hive should be rebuilt as is or if it should be rebuilt in a particular pony style, and if so, which one.

As she dug deeper and deeper into her internal garden, the unicorn came across her knowledge related to history.*

"Back in my history classes, I've learned about various civilizations through out time! "So you should keep the architectural elements about the old hive that you appreciate, and replace those you dislike with our elements! Some of the other changelings looked annoyed by this suggestion, but they stayed quiet to give Shiny a chance to respond.

"This is the point, my dear friend. Let me compare this situation to one where all of you would have to agree on which pizza you would all eat for diner. You can only choose one sort of pizza for all the Hive. It would be an enormous pizza and you Changelings don't really need to eat food but let's get over those two facts to focus on the main problem."

"The main problem is that 50% of the Changelings want a cheese pizza and the other 50% want a vegetarian pizza. What you're currently trying to do is choosing one of those two pizzas, even if it means that only half of the Hive will be satisfied with it, since you don't know what else to do."

"But fear not, I have a solution that will satisfy a good 90% of the Changelings. Have you considered having a pizza that is half cheese and half vegetarian? This is actually what we call a compromise and it's the best way to find a solution that will make everypony happy. You see, you don't need the entirety of the Hive to be to a fraction of the Changelings' liking. You can do the opposite, make a fraction of the Hive to some's likings and do another fraction of the Hive to some others' liking. It doesn't have to be just one design for the whole Hive, it can be many designs coexisting within it."

"Have you visited Ponyville recently? If you did, you might have noticed that not everything possesses the same architecture. To name only a few, Fluttershy's cottage, Rarity's dress shop, the huge crystal-made castle of Princess Twilight, etc. None of them ressemble each others but is Ponyville ugly? No, it's beautiful, even if it's not one design for everything."

"Ok if that is all, I think the feelings forum is done for tod-" The forums facilitator started to say before she was interrupted.

"Waait! I want to go back to the part where Shiny talked about making a pizza. I think we should make a pizza! And we should put pineapple on it!" A changeling exclaimed. The other changelings, who were getting up to leave, all paused to turn and stare at the outburst.

"You know, Sky! The thing!" *She added, as she winked at her not so discretely.*

The three ponies quickly made their way out into the corridor outside, and soon afterwards, Thorax joined them. 

"Sorry, I was just sorting some stuff out there after the discussion ended. Anyways, what did you all think?" Thorax asked cautiously. 

"Well, it's nice experiencing what the feelings forum is like, even if it could have gone a bit more smoothly," Twilight replied. Skylight nodded in agreement. The others would give Shiny a chance to reply with her experiences before moving on to another subject. 

Once Shiny had a chance to reply, Thorax would ask, "So, what should we all do now?"

*There was a sudden change in the unicorn's demeanor, at the thought of dancing with someling. She went from gleeful to shy and her cheeks flushed which was very visible due to her white face.*

Asking the new leader of the Changelings to teach her how to dance wasn't in her plans and forced her to get out from her comfort zone. However, she wanted to do so, since it was important for her to try new things, while being in this new place.*

The group found themselves in a large room with jazz music playing and plenty of colourful changelings dancing. Almost all the changelings were dancing in pairs, holding each other by the hooves as they appeared to walk in place and swing each other around. 

As the music wound down to transition from one song to another, Shiny's partner spoke up. "Hey everyling! We have somepony new who wants to join us!"

All the changelings in the room looked over in excitement. Skylight blushed from the attention.

A pair of changelings, one fuchsia, the other spearmint, approached the group. "Hi there, new pony, do you want to swing dance with us?" The fuchsia one asked Shiny. If Shiny agreed, the changeling would continue. "Sure, let's start with the basics. You can copy me, and your partner will copy my partner. Your partner will tell you what you need to do as well. And you two other ponies, you should join too!"

Twilight and Skylight glanced at each other before Skylight spoke up. "Hey uh, well I guess there's a first time for everything!"

The alicorn pair would cautiously hold each other's hooves and try to follow along with the instructing pair as the music started.

Twilight and Skylight glanced at each other before Skylight spoke up. "Hey uh, well I guess there's a first time for everything!"

The alicorn pair would cautiously hold each other's hooves and try to follow along with the instructing pair as the music started. 

 

"Yes, I want to learn how to swing dance!" *Shiny Silvermoon answered to the fuchsia changeling's question with her confidence renewed, since Skylight and Twilight were also participating.*

*The mare then proceeded to mimic the patterns of the two changelings, with her partner. There were many missteps and many times the unicorn found herself losing balance, only to be caught in time by her partner.*

"So what's your name, again? Woah-" *Shiny asked to her changeling partner, before almost falling again.* "Mine is Shiny, Shiny Silvermoon." *She added, once she regained her stability.*
