How did you find MLP Forums?

I found MLP Forums waaaaaaay back then, like 10 years ago to be exact. I remember one cringe response I did years ago and it has never left me. Therefore, that's how I still remember this site. But now, I am back and a college graduate in Animation. Ready to tackle the industry and hopefully get this "adult life" going.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

A bit of history, I have a little sister who used to love watching Barbie movies (she still does but not all the time, just for nostalgia). Since I've basically watched all the DVD movies that we had, I spent my time watching Barbie movies with my sister. I do not regret enjoying some of them.

imo, Barbie and the Diamond Castle has great songs that my sis' and I still sing at random times. While the threequel of Barbie: Fairytopia, is the best movie out of all...as far as I can remember.

Imagine my surprise when my sister started watching MLP. She started watching the first two seasons and she invited me to watch the first Equestria Girls movie with her. Lo and behold, I liked the movie and was deeply interested for some reason. So I delved deeper lol :PIPPIPHURRAY:

 I was hesitant at first because a dude like me shouldn't be watching shows not meant for me but gyaaadarnit it pulled me in. I started watching in japanese dub at first, wanting to watch it like an anime should quell my indecisive heart. However, they've only dubbed until season 2 or 3 by that point so I had no choice but to start again from season 1 in english.

 

11 years later, I'm still a fan and doing fan creations. I hope to still share the same magic that this show has given to me, the friends I've met who also loved the show, and maybe one day produce this kind of show that a lot of people, both young and old, would love~:squee:

I do have samples of my old MLP fanart work and I plan to do commissions here in the near future but for now I have to follow this site's guidelines and post whenever I can!

Haha thank you! Unfortunately, there are no VAs in my videos so far. They are all unfortunately...made with AI as placeholders. Will have to finish my animatics before I proceed to casting calls~

Your story about getting into MLP if quite similar to mine. I admit I too, watched some Barbie movies in the past, only because it just so happened to be aired on TV and my family left it on lmao. I'm in general used to watching animated shows/movies, as I've been watching tons of stuff they aired on Fox Kids/Jetix/Disney XDDDLMAOROFLCOPTER, Cartoon Network etc. back then. One day, the first Equestria Girls movie was aired on TV, so since it was left on like this, I watched it out of curiosity and maaaan that Cafeteria song got really stuck in my head, it made me rewatch the movie about a year later, then checked Rainbow Rocks and ... finally FiM. :mlp_icwudt:

Woow I never thought about  MLP had Japanese dub ( but wait, our country also has dub in our language, but why havent they been updated:mlp_blink:
