general questions Can/how you delete a quote(spoiler)?

I just want to know can you delete a quote or a spoiler? If yes, then how?

I assume you are on mobile? 

Unfortunately working with these blocks is wonky on mobile. The way I delete these is to have some text above and below the block I want to delete, and then I highlight it all from bottom/top, just to have the block in the middle of selection. Then, just backspacing removes it all. 

Same goes with emoticons, sometimes backspacing through them doesn't work on mobile, so an effective way is to highlight some text and drag selection through the emoticon.

@Dupluna There may be bigger problems when the spoiler/quote is at the very top of the editor, making one unable to drag selection through it.

 

Let me try something - I added a new button to the toolbar on mobile and tablet views. It basically removes the selection, which otherwise is apparently too much for mobile to handle.  

With that button, it hopefully should be easier to remove all these blocks, that refuse to disappear.

Just tap the spoiler/quote's header to select it, then poke the trash can icon to send it to the Moon.

 

For now I've added it for testing - Let me know if anyone finds that useful.
