Quite simply, because a MLP 8-bit musician I follow promoted a rhythm game here, and I realized suddenly that, hey, I should join an actual forum now that I've found one, and don't have weird online anxiety like I used to. How you became a fan of My Little Pony One of my friends had sisters. Funnily enough, it wasn't those sisters that introduced me, it was my friend that insisted that despite how it might look, there's a lot of cool things about it too. He didn't exactly convince me to just go out and watch it immediately (it's not like he knew where to show me episodes, he watched it live), but when I saw pony related stuff on Youtube, I gave it a chance. It helps that I like horses in real life. I don't remember what time period I got into MLP, but it was before Season 4 released at the very least. Now while it's been a while since MLP was a hyperfixation of mine, I'm still very much a fan. I mostly engage with fanfiction and the like, but I've done a few 8-bit song covers and follow a few musicians (see how I found this site) now that my original fandom engagement, youtube videos, have mostly died down. Also MLP fangames, I love Ponyvania: Order of Equestria and Fallout: Remains. I remember when "reactions" weren't much of a thing on Youtube, and every pony youtuber called them Blind Commentaries. Which they were, there was none of the modern "Youtuber stares blankly while the video plays in a corner" nonsense. Anyway, I hope to find more stuff on these forums now that I actually know how to navigate forums and it doesn't seem like a scary prospect like it did to me years ago. 4 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Detsella Morningdew having most of my 8-bit music, but a separate one just named Aurora with my actual MLP covers, as well as all the raw footage from when I beta tested Legends of Equestria. I think I wanted to keep one channel MLP themed, back when I had the idea that I'd be a lot more prolific with 8-bit covers than I actually was.
