I want to draw YOUR OC! please help me get some practice!

 Hello everypony,

 I'm looking to get some drawing practice in before starting animation, and a job. I would LOVE to draw your OC pony if you would allow me the honor too.

These are technically commissions I guess, but I am not charging. I just want to get in as much practice as I can before thinks kick off. I got on at Walt Disney Animation and need all the practice I can get!

I have attached a few things i drew for a few of the VIP guests at Ciderfest, for most commissions expect a 24 - 48 hour turn around, I am in college so things might get rough a few times, but I will make sure you are informed about any delays due to that.

I will not draw NSFW of your character do not ask, I will ignore the post. 

I will not risk the safety of my target audience (kids) and its part of my artist code. If this bothers you then just don't post, I will not respond to them and will remove the post if I see it. I also have the right to refuse if the request if I feel it might jeopardize my integrity or professionalism.  Other then that I will try to draw any pony you'd like, and move on to other races soon. Thank you and I hope you understand. I spend a lot of time with kids and making art for them, I have nothing against it, I just wont draw it.

Tips are welcome, but not needed and will not influence the order of commissions, these are first come first serve, I will get to everyone as soon as possible, expect a 24 - 48 hour turn around (though I will get as many done as fast as i can, but I am in school and work presently so it might interfere sometimes.

I would be forever grateful and ask for my OC to get drawn as an unicorn or even as an earth pony as I'm not talented myself and was considering to get a commission done by an artist.

However, please note that my OC, Starlight Serenade was created via Copilot AI as I was brainstorming how I would think she would look like as an alicorn. I understand that some artists refuse to draw anything AI related, so I thought you should know. I totally understand if you refuse.

Do you take any tips or anything at least for your time? Also do you have a commission sheet/website?

I would be more then happy to draw your OC, and I do not have any issue with AI as a reference, I don't use it as im not tech savy enough, and my animation team would break all four of my legs but I personally dont have any issue with using any AI stuff (or anything else) as a reference. 

If you dont want to post it here, please DM me, but can you give me a little about her personality, her likes, maybe what her cutie mark represents? it all helps making the character look right.

 I will have her done most likely tonight after class here.

• Curious Wanderer: Their alicorn powers grant them the ability to traverse the cosmos effortlessly. She roams the celestial expanse, seeking hidden harmonies and undiscovered symphonies.

Appearance:

Power Chord is my OC, a Rock'n Roll pony that plays guitars of all kind. That looks serious and a bit dangerous but he's very friendly, loyal and fun.

This is all the info I have about My Oc, and a Sheet

Power Chord, a Rocker Earth Pony from a little village in the mountains called "Ponydorf". (A Power Chord is a "Chord" that is very used in Rock, specially at the start of a show like "Are you ready to Rock'n Roll?!")

Ponydorf is a Swiss style village (inspired by "Apple Strudel", the uncle of Applejack). His parents are Gold Glance, a chief miner from the village and Miss Porcelaine, owner of a humble Pottery Shop in the village.

His parent's had a lot of expectations about him; they wanted an heir for the Pottery shop or the mines, but when he saw a mysterious pony traveler who played the guitar and had the opportunity to play one, he received his Cutie Mark (A  yellow lightning bolt.) and changed his filly name to "Power Chord".

Power Chord Cutie Mark is the emoji of  electricity, because his bold, fun and loyal nature.

He looks at first serious and a bit aggressive, but in reality he is very Friendly (he embodies the "Spirit of Loyalty" like Rainbow Dash). He knows about all kinds of music that can be played with any guitar, and specially improvisation as guitar player and a Rocker. He also knows a bit of technology (Electric guitar, Amp's, electricity) and he is "Streetwise" so he can move in "underground" movements, know what people gossip about...

hey there so good to see you! Ya I needed to step back from the internet for a while to focus on our show stuff. But now that its running properly I can do more drawing stuffs lol

 I would LOVE to draw Silky, I'll see if I can finish her by tomorrow morning. Could you please give me a little bit about the characters personality and that? I just want to make sure I'm drawing the character correctly.

My OC is "Titanium White" an artist pony that paints using her tail. She has bright blue eyes, and who's mane / tail is always covered in paint. Her cutiemark is a paint pallete with brush.

Personality Trait: Extrovert, Happy, A bit crazy, Charismatic, Expressive, Friendly.

Appearance: Pale pink coat. Brown mane tied into a ponytail with pink dye on the bottom half of her ponytail. Brown bangs on her mane with pink and black striped hair strands on both sides of her bangs. Pink eyes. Brown tail with pink dye on bottom. Tends to overaccessorize her bangs with cute mane clips. Wears cute necklaces on her neck and bracelets on her hooves. Sometimes puts cute little accessories on her tail. 
Cutie Mark: Pink Bow with small sky blue heart and small yellow star next to it.

Occupation: Singer

Backstory: Confetti Kei was born at Vanhoover, Equestria. She lived with her parents and also has a little sister named Bubblegum. Confetti Kei wasn’t the most popular throughout her school life, but she had friends with her extroverted nature. She didn’t get her cutie mark until middle school, when she started wearing Fairy Kei clothes and started to make music for school projects. Of course with Confetti Kei getting her cutie mark at a later age, she did get made fun of by others, but she simply didn’t care. After Confetti Kei graduated high school, she started to work on her music career. She would sign to work for CuteG0re, a music company in Vanhoover, Equestria. Confetti Kei would then release her debut called "Monstar". Other ponies would describe it as cute but d3adly. Confetti Kei isn't the most popular singer, but has made friends (ponies and non ponies alike) who make hyperpop music like her.

(Sorry for the buttload of lore. I just enjoy coming up with lore for my OCs)

Confetti Kei's style is based mostly on Fairy Kei, but also partially based on Scene. I also based Confetti Kei off of Ennaria

Ridiculously ambitious and chilled out, Rainbow Splash is an adventurer, more outgoing than her friends, and just as brave as any Equestrian Princess, although, that same ambition could lead her to end up in bad situations, anything from being stuck in a tree to her and her friends lives on the line!

Shale is a scientist pony who's special talent is building and repairing portals, especially the mirror portals like the one leading to the Equestria Girls universe. She's paid in grants from the government to find worlds that are useful, or have advancements that our Equestria doesn't have, and she uses a large portion of her grant money to hire adventurers to go explore the new worlds for her so she doesn't have to risk getting hurt.

 

She is a bit grumpy at times, but she has a heart of gold. Mostly. She sees herself as the smartest, most capable pony in any room, and while she does have the brains to back up most of her claims, she can be a bit oblivious, and has to try hard to think of other ponies and what THEY want over what she thinks is best for them, but she's getting better! She has several friends, who all love her despite her hard to get along with attitude, and they see the helpful, kind, hard working pony underneath, even when others can't.

Hi there everyone, thank you so much for all the responses, im working to get a few out tonight, but rest assured I will get to every pony. I have added everyone into a list and just going to go at it one at a time in order of first come first serve. Everyone at present should be ready in 24 to 48 hours. If I get more I might have to come up with a new plan I was honestly not expecting so much awesome response to the thread. I thank you all for the practice.

In the end if your character is just not looking right, please let me know and I will fix the artwork!

As a fellow who was in the program in 2020, wishing you the best of luck and extending hoof with piece of advice... If you really wanna train, headshots of ponies are very nice general-expression-wise, but you'd need more than that.

 

One of the 1st exercise you do in Character Design course (my teacher was Aaron Blaise, he's a great guy and likes animals - like me! ^^) is to design a skeletal structure basing on a picture. It shows if you can do anatomy or whatnot, and in animation, "pencil rigging" is crucial! They value it especially these days because it's something AI still messes up. 

Therefore, if you wanna practise, try to draw skeletal structure of somepony. If you want it as request, then do Applejack, any basic screen from the show will do. Good luck! :3

I have an O.C. named Glitter Gum, she's in my profile picture. She's an inventor in the field of technology and is always wearing her brass googles or other acessories thats hide her eyes. (Her name comes from the fact that her hair shines like glitter... and has a sweet taste)
