Childish things.

Members of my family are accepting of my and my siblings love of MLP, even though they don't understand it. They haven't seen the show itself, only caught bits of it when my sibling and I watch it together, or look at the covers of the comics we have and assume it's only for children. It seems to be one of those things where while my sibling and I know there's stuff in it for adults along with kids, it's really something you have to watch to believe.

Not mad or anything, just a funny thing I noticed over the days.

:yay: that's the path it took with me, too

I remember hiding the ponies away, but now they joke about pony stuff with me :pinkie:

I feel ya. Lots of people fail to understand the things we find so obvious. Some peoples’ minds are simply closed for one reason or another. For example, I love animation (MLP and otherwise) and I enjoy all the artwork involved in it. On the other hand, my mom, who’s an exceptional artist who loves looking at art, won’t watch animation at all; not even to look at the artwork! Some of it is social conditioning of people who grew up with the erroneous thinking that cartoons are only for kids. Once it gets engrained in their minds they can’t seem to shake it off. Happily we don’t have to be so restricted; we found our ponies and that treasure is ours to keep.

Bruh, took the words right outta my mouth. I love some animation, but you can find some great stuff if you know where to look.
