I personally don’t care for DT or her redemption(in fact, I despise both of those things), but what about you?
SharpWit 2,648 Wednesday at 10:46 PM Share Wednesday at 10:46 PM I think I would've preferred them building up to it. Having an episode where they have a group project and it's not going well until they learn to work together. All parties are happy at the end, but Daimond makes it clear despite their success, they still aren't friends, and we end with say Applebloom rolling her eyes while smiling. If we shoved in two more that follow a similar formula of mild improvement, then I think we could fully justify the change. Forgetting to use characters after completing primary story arcs is definitely a big issue, not just in MLP. Perhaps they could continue the rivalry with the CMC, but on a friendlier level? More along the lines of Applejack and Rainbow during the Running of the Leaves. Plenty of shenanigans, but friends at the end.

My biggest problem is the fact that Spoiled Rich’s sudden existence came out of nowhere, and it seemed like a flimsy excuse to justify DT’s actions when episodes like Flight To The Finish exist.
