Artshine Aura 39 February 22 Share February 22 i played alot of creative plots minecraft servers when i was younger where you were basically guaranteed to suddenly one day just see players disappear. being young, for one reason or another alot of us then couldnt add eachother on skype or a similar program, or didnt think to add eachother. so our only means of regular communication were just expecting to see eachother ingame when we logged into the server the next day. so, pretty regularly we would just stop seeing certain friends of ours with zero explanation. Some have come and gone, but in some happy cases old friends have returned after prolonged absences. Some may be gone for good but I always hope they’ll return. I don’t think of any of them as ‘disappearing’ exactly; just taking a break. Friends disappearring suddenly is harder to deal with since you’re left wondering if they’re okay. Night Sky 599 May 20 Share May 20 I've had many online connections come and go and come again and go again. Many of the connections I've made have been on YouTube, many of those are still intact. A lot of the connections I made on forums like this one, back in the PHP heyday, that's all years ago and I have no idea what became of most people. I did have one guy disappear on me from one day to the next. He had made statements about maybe serving a brief stint in jail. But then, nothing. The only people I’d like to see again were some bronies I roleplayed with back on Tumblr, a good ten years ago.
