I was lurking and you guys seem so nice and inviting. How you became a fan of My Little Pony I grew up around my mostly girl cousins who watched the series as it was first airing, so I was watching since around the middle of the first season of FiM. Since then I always had a passive interest in the fandom and the show but was too embarrassed to ever sit down and watch because of the weird attitude around "bronies" at the time. It wasn't until Christmas of this year I finally watched the show and became a fan. So now I guess I am a 'brony' if that term is even really relevant anymore. anyhow, I hope we can get along and be friends! I'm not really sure how forums work as I have only used a few and I get intimidated by sites like these very easily but I have a good feeling about this place! There are so many different people you are bound to find ones you click with! As for how the forums works, just scroll about and reply to topics you find interesting. Be it just your answer or starting a back and forth based on someone else’s reply using the quote system. No good to overthink it and don’t worry the mods don’t bite! The staff are a very helpful bunch and you can rely on them to keep you on track if you have any questions or concerns. Yes, I also got freaked out by the vibes of a ver small part of the comunity back in the days, so I didn't give the show a chance until now. Fortunately, it's not like that anymore.
