If Discord is actually Pretending to be Sick then how did he gave Applejack & Rarity The Blue flu when he sneezed on them?

Seeing that Discord is the Lord of Chaos and can basically warp reality, he probably created the blue flu and gave it to Applejack and Rarity. After all, he was able to turn the Mane 6 into their opposite selves.

Could have been his punishment for lying, though it would not be fair to punish Rarity and Applejack for it, something about his chaos magic would have had something to do with that.

More likely, he used his chaos magic to give them the cold on purpose earlier to troll them, he got punished for it at the end though, he actually did end up with a cold and had to rest in a bed that was quarantined. There's a lesson about crying wolf here in that episode, and mistreating friends by poor hygiene or deliberately sneezing in their faces. The message is somewhat garbled but it's apparent.

Rarity being assertive and saying Discord got what he deserved. Discord will continue to be punished until he stops being a jerk.

I love Rarity and in this episode she is direct and gave Discord a stern talking to, I know she can be dramatic at times but I like it when she puts her hoof down and tells others enough is enough when others do abuse her. This does not mean Discord and Mane Six cannot be friends, however Mane Six were justified in their tough love toward him, even friends have to punish another friend sometimes.

He may be pretending but still using magic. He could also carry the flu himself but not feel the effects! :3 Idk, I haven’t ever thought of it before!

He could have created a disease, or just give them some symptoms while they aren't really sick. We see them healthy by the end of the episode so it was likely just a trick for a very short time or they got over it quickly, maybe Twilight healed them. Maybe its a real disease and he gave them that but it passes qiuckly and he can heal himself from it. There are many possible explanations.

 

With Discord you can just throw common sense away.
