Hasbro Reports the MLP Brand is Doing Well and Acknowledges TYT

So it looks like MLP is still doing fine and Hasbro is not completely ignoring G5 despite the rumors.

On Page 42 of the magazine...

“The brand is also performing well in the collectibles and plush market with dynamic and highly localised releases from Mighty Jaxx and Reesee, catering to nostalgic fans and new generations alike. Released last year, My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale on YouTube brought fresh storytelling and music, deepening fan engagement.”

TYT's even featured by the Hasbro logo.

Don't feel things happened the way they did because G5 "failed" from this, especially not with the new Hasbro-promoted TYT merch. I think it has to do with the sudden boom of G4 stuff.

G4 has been getting a lot more attention from licensees than has G5, but we shall see. We don't know what those TY Beanie Bouncers will look like yet.

That's no shock at all. It's always been the most popular generation and licensees gravitate toward what's most popular. G5 just does not have the luxury G4 got back in the day and the fact that it's still getting attention is what matters most to me.
