What else would need to happen for a hacker to actually locate your computer and then go on a rampage? What damage could they do? Microsoft stop supporting security patches for XP back in 2014, and the source code has been leaked out. I even have an old hacked CD disk that has a bootleg XP on it that I can put in XP machines and get passwords/keylogs/browsing history/etc from it. (I was only using it to fix or restore data for clients of my college at that time) It was an ordeal back in 2014, as certain healthcare providers didn't make the change over yet and had worms infect their networks. They could pretty much do whatever they wanted to your pc.

Night Sky 1,118 23 hours ago Share 23 hours ago There will always be a soft spot in my heart for Windows 2000, because I was darn savvy with it by the end. I was more capable and versatile, and stable than anything that had come before. It was also simple and easy to operate at the same time. Early XP was a nightmare, but later XP redeemed it. I was favorably disposed towards Windows 7. I remember running Windows 3.1 on top of DOS, but back then I was sure that this product was a dead end, and wouldn't be going anywhere. The release of Windows 95 saw some computer store fits fights, that considered news worthy back in the day... 1 FRIENDSHIP FINDS A WAY
