Rain nodded for a moment then walked over and grabbed his hand, staring into his eyes seriously.

"You're not going to destroy the city, right?" she asked quietly. "I've lost everyone, both here and in Equestria...except you. And I can't lose you, too."

"I'm not planning on it anymore" he said "But by the judge of what just happened, i think someone else it"

Rain nodded and looked at the ground. "That's why I was about to kill myself...it's finally sinking in that you and Sebastian are the only people I have anymore...and I don't even know about Sebastian anymore..."

She forced back any tears and looked at him. "What do you mean? That thing has taken its own form or something?"

"No that's not it" he said "But back when me and Fire were partners, there were three of us." he said

Rain blinked. "I thought the third was Bitches or Clocks or one of those guys..."

"No, it was before them, when we first started out a few years later we were partnered with a stallion named 'Hypno' He was different, to say the least. But me and Fire took him in, and everything was just dandy for years. He was always weird though, and he never seemed to age even though to our knowledge he was not a vampire" he started to explain.

Rain nodded slowly. "So this guy's here now, too?" she asked. "Well I can get Sebby to help...if he even wants to talk to me anymore..." She looked at her feet. "It's all my fault she died. No wonder he hates me."

"To make a long story short, he flipped on us one day, and we had to kill our friend. Afterward it was shoved under the carpet just as my body was." he paused "And i think he may be back" he said "It's not really your fault, it mine."

Rain didn't comment on the fact that he said it was his fault, but just said, "Well, if he died once, he can't be that hard to kill again." Then she looked at him closely. "Wait...you DIED? When?!"

"When i was stabbed to death by that bat winged Pegasus..." he said "K-Bar i think"

She stared at him. "Uhm, I never heard about this. Then again, I didn't want anything to do with you, since Zlo told me you were cheating..." She shook her head firmly. "Not the point. So how are you here, then?"

"The government covered it up" he said "I don't even know how i got here, but i think he had revived me just to rampage, not knowing you could snap me out of it."

Rain waved her arms in mock victory. "Yay! I'm special!"

She started to limp around nervously. "So he's going to try to destroy the city? Why?"

"Because he find it's entertaining, he finds sport in it" Shadow said rather seriously.

Detective was wandering the dangerous side of town, investigating a tip that a dangerous crime lord he was looking for might be in this area

"He's a retard," said Rain decidedly. "Possibly more of a retard than me."

"No, he is actually quite smart." Shadow said "But his insanity does make him a borderline retard at times" he chuckled.

"Fine. Dick, whatever. He still sucks." Rain shrugged. "So what are we gonna do?"

"I don't know yet, depends on when he is like now really" he said "And i don't think i could fight him alone either."

Detective reloaded his desert eagle, as he was in the worse part of town to be in a night

"Well, there's Sebastian. He may hate my guts but he's not going to let anyone else die, now that Rachel's gone." She sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

"I still can't believe she died..." He said sadly

"Yeah. She died saving me and Ella. Not that she saved us though." Rain snorted harshly. "I have no idea what happened to Ella and I'm still Ms. Scarsicle."

"We may have to find that kid..." he said

"Yeah. Whoever took her sounded familiar. But I can't think of who..." said Rain with a sigh.
