Ender felt the warm sun shine on his hard shells, reflecting the dim light that it gave out. He rested his massive head on his front legs, enjoying the sun for what it was worth. It was better when the world was cold, but it made up for just being warm. He could not handle the harsh heat that the sun gave in the west, so he stayed in the north, enjoying the cool summers and the icy winters. He was alone at the top of his mountain that he had claimed long ago, but this was normal for him. He had always been alone, and this is how it will always be.

Diana sat on the edge of a rock above the lake, her feet twirling the water around. Her tail was in the water as well, rippling the water around it. She lightly breathed on the surface of the water, and it froze. She pulled her feet out of the water and shattered the ice. She sighed and looked around, the sun's light reflecting off the water. She was glad she was in shade; it was warm out.

Ender stretched his massive body across the rocks underneath him. He had been sleeping for days, without anything to eat or drink. He knew had to find water soon, or he would surely die of thirst. He stretched his wings out and began to fly towards the nearest lake he knew the location of, the icy lake in the north.

Diana looked up at the tree branches above her. She breathed ice onto them, freezing them. They fell off the tree and into the water, sinking down from the weight of the ice.

Ender cut through the wind with his wings like a hot knife to butter, the feeling of weightlessness within him. He loved to fly, and loved every second of his wings allowing him to. In only a few short moments he reached the icy lake, which would of taken days on foot from the twolegs from the south. He landed hard on flat ground near the lake and approached it, not noticing the other dragons presence.

Diana looked over when she heard something land. She saw another dragon and lowered her head, hoping he wouldn't notice her. She breathed ice on the water again, looking down.

Ender stepped towards the lake slowly, taking his time to enjoy the cold weather around him. He loved the icy plains of the north, but knew if he stayed then he would lose his element to natural causes. Ender feared this possibility, so he took the precautions of staying in the mountains. Once his front legs were at the base of the lake he ducked his massive head into the water and began to drink the icy water below.

Diana continued breathing ice onto the water, the ice getting thicker. Ice crystals were moving their way up the rock towards her.

Ender felt something in the water grow ever colder, which the nerves in his tongue noticed right away. He could trace the source of the disturbance, to which he followed with his eyes. When he saw the source, he couldn't believe his eyes. It was another dragon, and a female no less. He instantly felt his scales rattle, nervousness growing in his core. He hadn't seen another dragon for years, and now there was now one directly in front of him.

Diana felt something looking at her. She looked up and saw the other dragon. Her one visible purple eye looked directly into his, her tail still circling in the icy water.

Ender dropped his head down instantly, embarrassment running through his veins. What did he say? What did he do? What could he say? He just kept his head down and stared at the water, looking at his lowly expression.

Diana blinked and looked down at the water also. She didn't know what to do.

Ender continued to stare at his reflection. He began to think in his mind,

*This is your one chance you fool, don't mess it up!*

Ender's expression changed once again.

*But... what do I say!*

He picked his head up once more and saw the female dragon once more.

*I have to at least... try..*

Diana looked up again nervously. 'Should I say something?' She thought.

Ender sighed as he picked himself off of the ground.

*I need to be a real dragon for once...*

He then shot up into the air, out of sight.

Diana looked down again, then back up. She blinked; he was gone. She looked around, then sighed.

Within moments of him flying into the air, he landed shortly away from her. He landed on the ground softly this time as to not make a fool of himself. He slowly made his way over to her and said with enough confidence he could muster,

"G-good evening."

Diana heard him and looked over. She smiled shyly. "Hello." She cracked the ice on the water with her tail.

Ender tried to swallow down the nervousness in his mouth, but to no avail, his mouth was as dry as a bone. He sat near her and said,

"My name is Ender, and yours?"

"Diana." She said quietly, blushing slightly.

Ender kept his head down to avoid her gaze. He felt like an ignorant fool, but he could not stop now. He said softly,

"Diana is a lovely name."

Diana looked down as well. "Thank you. Ender is a nice name also."

Ender nodded as well. He kept a calm outlook on the outside, but was truly freaking out on the inside.

*What do I say next!?* He thought in his mind. He then said,

"So, for how long have you been out here?"

Diana looked at the sun reflecting on the water. "Not that long." She looked back at him. "What about you?"

Ender shook his head and said,

"I only just arrived. I come from the south."
