Ender nodded at her and began to walk away, but staggered due to fatigue.

Diana walked close beside him incase he fell.

Ender turned his head to face her and grinned.

"Sorry... no sleep last night."

[Nothing&NoOne 695]

Diana smiled. "No problem."

[Finesthour 7,289]

Ender grinned at her and shook his head. His mind was getting fuzzy once more. Through the confusion he said,

"We need to see if there are any two leg camps nearby."

Diana nodded and spread her wings. She jumped off the edge of the cliff, out of sight, and spiraled upward a few seconds after.

Ender jumped off the cliff as well, flapping his wings to rise to the sky. Once they were both airborne, Ender flew next to her and said,

"Where shall we search first?"

Diana looked around. "Near water?"

Ender nodded his head.

"That sounds good. Let's look for the nearest lake."

 

Ender and Diana began to search around the area, looking for any twolegged camps nearby.

Diana flew around, looking in different directions.

Ender then spotted smoke rising into the sky. He called to Diana,

"Look, straight ahead."

Diana looked over and smirked. "Bingo."

Ender nodded his head and said,

"Let's be careful this time."

[Nothing&NoOne 695]

Diana nodded in agreement and followed.

Ender turned his head to the ground and began to speed downwards, ready to fight the mammal below. He felt a fierce power growing in his throat, power ready to unleash itsself onto the creature below.

Diana also started charging up her power, readying ice crystals that could freeze antyhing solid. She dived down below the leaves, flying inbetween the trees with ease. She folded her wings to her sides and did a combat roll on the ground, unleashing her frostbite attack, making a wall of ice behind the mammal so it couldn't run.

I turned around to see two dragons drop down from the sky. One dragon shot ice around me. Fuck, now escape is impossible.

 

Ender charged the power in his throat and shot electricity from the pit of his source. The thunder bolt struck the human directly on the body, shocking him.

Diana jumped into the air and flapped her wings once, sending her up higher. She landed on one foot infront of the human and spun, knocking him off his feet with her tail. She reared up on her hind legs, ready to dig her claws into the human's chest with her full force.

I fell to the ground, completely numb. I could see another dragon landing on top of me, and she rose on her hind legs.

 

Ender roared with absolute anger.

"Take him out Diana! Make him pay for his crimes!"

Diana roared as well, and breathed frost on her feet, giant claws of ice forming ontop of her own claws. She shot her claws down into the human's chest, blood staining the shining frozen water. She let the ice shatter inside the human's body, the spikes of broken ice lodging inside his body.

I could feel my organs shutting down, one by one. It felt as if tiny ants were biting every part of my insides. I couldn't even scream anymore. Before I knew it, I took my last breath.

 

Ender slowly walked over to Diania.

"We did the right thing."

Diana pulled her bloody paws out of the human's body. "There's probably more of them though." She looked up in the direction they saw smoke from earlier and sighed. "What if more of them can attack us like the one did? With his voice?"

Ender looked out into the distance and lowered his eyes.

"Then we will destroy them together. Together, we are strong. No human is going to be able to harm either of us."

He then closed his eyes and sighed.

Diana bumped his shoulder. "I'm scared though. I've never heard of humans attacking..with their voices. Usually they run when they see dragons. And what if they can use more then one attack like that?"

Ender opened his eyes and put a claw on her shoulder.

"It's going to be fine. We're dragons, we can face anything that is thrown at us. I'm scared too, but we need to stay strong."
