Ender nodded his head as he stood beside her.

"I still can't fight if we decide to go outside. I really don't want to risk shocking myself to death. It's be a real bummer if I left you now. You'd be bored, remember!"

Diana laughed. "Exactly. I don't want to be bored now, do I?" She bumped his shoulder. "What do you want to do? Hang out in here all day?" She sat down and looked around her igloo; it should hold for a while.

Ender laid down once more and faced her and smiled again.

"It looks like I really don't have any other choice. Then again, being stuck in here with you doesn't sound that bad to me."

Diana smiled and lay down beside him. "Sounds pretty good to me too." She said, resting her tail on top of his. She folded her wings at her sides and thought about the humans. Were they stuck inside like they were?

Ender could feel that she had placed her tail on top of his, which caused him to smile without thinking about it. It felt rather weird to him that he felt like that, but he pushed it out of his mind. Ender then broke the silence,

"So tell me about yourself Diana. What was it like growing up for you?''

"I don't really remember my childhood, so I was pretty much fending for myself at the lake. I'm not a fan of deep water, but the lake was a good home. Lots of stuff to eat, and water, of course." She smirked.

Ender chuckled at her short story. He seemed to miss one important part of her story.

"And what about your parents? Were they around at all?

Diana blinked and her smirk went away. "I..don't remember." She bowed her head a little bit, thinking. She winced in pain and put her paw to the side of her head, rubbing the sudden pain away. She shook her head. "I don't remember."

Ender raised his eyebrow as he watched her wince in pain. It worried him that she had hurt herself by thinking, so he placed a paw on her shoulder.

"Hey, don't try so hard. It's fine if you don't remember."

Diana shook her head. "Sometimes I'll remember little bits if I try hard enough." She said. "Nothing that makes any sense though.." She trailed off. She sighed and looked at him apoligetically. "What about you?"

Ender kept his look of sympathy as he closed his eyes to remember his past.

"My parents died when I was young, so I learned to fend for myself in the mountains. My friends soon left to find better places, and I was left alone ever since."

Diana rested her head on him. "Why didn't you go with them?" She asked quietly, putter her paw on his. She was pretty sure her parents were dead as well. Even if they weren't, she knew the feeling of lonliness.

Ender kept his eyes closed as he sighed softly.

"I wanted to stay in my home land. It reminded me of my parents, and it still does. So I stayed. It helped with the loneliness by thinking of my parents... how they used to always be there for me."

Diana closed her eyes halfway. "Is that what parents do?" She murmured, looking at the ground. She never had any memories of her parents, no matter how hard she tried to remember them. She kept trying though.

Ender nuzzled her softly as he continued on.

"I think so, I don't remember them much anymore. I've been alone for years, hoping that one of my friends would return to me. They haven't since they left... it's been horrible."

Diana nuzzled him back. "I was waiting for the day I'd see another dragon." She rested her head under his chin, her eyes closed. "Better late then never." She said quietly, leaning against him. She sighed.

Ender softly chuckled as he sighed once more.

"Well, I'm never leaving your side, so I guess loneliness is out of the factor, huh? Hopefully you'll do the same."

Diana nodded. "I'll try my best." She mused, openeing her eyes again. She suddenly lifted her head. "...Did you hear that?" She strained her ears, listening, Her body was tensed, ready to attack if she needed to.

Ender lifted his head up as well, his ears reacting to the noises outside the Igloo. He slowly rose to his legs and put a paw to her lips. He then began to slowly move outside their compound to find the visitor outside.

Diana stayed quiet and sneaked after him, listening as well. She felt frost start building up in her throat incase she needed to back him up. Her tail lashed behind her, also ready to use the sharp blades on it.

Ender looked behind the tree's that were set in the forest, and could see a small being laying on the ground. It's chest was rising and falling quickly, although it was too dark to determine what it was.

Diana peeked over his shoulder into the darkness. She saw something lying on the ground and her head toward's Ender's. "What is it?" She whispered to him, trying to see it better. The shadows were covering it and she couldn't tell.

Ender slowly put his paw out to touch the creature, and to his surprise he found that it began to purr. Ender turned his head to face Diana and shrugged, not knowing how to proceed with his actions against the creature.

Diana blinked and shrugged back, extremely confused. She crept around the other side of the tree to look at it, moving slowly. She didn't want to scare it, or alert anything else in the area that they were around.

Ender put his head down to the small creature and nudged it gently, turning it over. As he did so, he nearly jumped back in surprise. Laying on the forest ground was a small, injured kitten gently sleeping.
