Diana looked up at him. "Why is there a kitten out here?" She bent her head beside it, expecting it to turn into some hideous monster and attack them. "Hm. Interesting." She mused, looking back up at Ender.

Ender gently nudged the kitten once more, and it slowly opened it's eyes. It mewed softly as it awoke, and it began to stretch on the forest floor. It opened it's eyes to see Diana, and it gently licked her nose.

Diana jumped slightly in surprise. "Hey kitten. What are you doing out here?" She asked it quietly, nudging it with her muzzle. She looked around, wondering if something left it there, accidentally or on purpose.

The kitten mewed once more, and began purring again. It gently nuzzled Diana in return, and started to fall back asleep due to the warmth of her scales. Ender looked up at her and said,

"Seems it took a liking to you."

Diana smirked at him. "Being an Ice dragoness, I have no idea why." She gently picked the kitten up and went back into the igloo, motioning for Ender to follow her. She placed the kitten down in the grass.

Ender slowly followed Diana as they both stepped back inside of the Igloo, and he stepped away from the kitten. He looked up at Diana and said,

"What are you planning to do with the little thing, exactly?"

Diana shrugged. "I'd rather not leave it out there to die. Whow knows what it would attract over here." She smirked and looked at the kitten, then at him. "At least it was a kitten, and not something that wants to kill us."

Ender chuckled softly at her comment, then looked back at the kitten.

"But just look at it! It's so ferocious and deadly! Looks like it would murder us in a second!"

He laughed once more and laid down.

Diana smirked. "Very true. I'll guess we'll have to keep close watch on each other." She leaned against him and rested her head on her paws, looking at the kitten. "I wonder why it was out here though."

Ender stared at the small creature, wondering the same exact thing.

"My question is how did the poor thing survive outside all by it'self? It's so tiny. It's a marvel it wasn't eaten while sleeping. It's lucky we found it."

Diana nodded. "I'm surprised we didn'tnotice it when we were here in the first place." She said, chuckling. "Weird little thing. Maybe it belonged to someone in the village we saw earlier? It could've run off."

Ender shook his head softly. He thought about a human abandoning a small kitten such as this one, and it sounded far fetched.

"It's smaller then a human though. Why would they leave it unless they feared it?"

Diana shrugged. "Maybe it IS some horrible demon. Don't feed it after midnight or give it any water." She smirked at him, blowing her bangs away from her eyes. "You never know. Looks can be decieving."

Ender chuckled softly as he continued to look at the kitten. He smiled as he did so and said,

"I highly doubt this little creature is anywhere near dangerous. Anything this cute cannot have a bad side."

Diana nodded. "Very true. It is adorable." She watched the kitten sleep, it's tiny ears twitching every now and again. She chuckled and nuzzled Ender softly. "Better a kitten then a werewolf or something."

Ender chuckled softly as Diana nuzzled against him. He turned his head to face her and said,

"Well, we'd better get to sleep again. No point in staying awake now. Hopefully we can help the little guy later on."

Diana nodded in agreement and lowered her head, still leaning on him a bit. She closed her eyes and listened to the faint sound of the wind blowing through the trees. She started humming quietly and fell asleep a bit later.

Ender enjoyed the sweet song of Diana's humming as he drifted off to sleep slowly. The kitten soon stretched out once more, and moved over to lay beside Diana, nuzzling close to her chest. It fell asleep as well.

Diana slept, dreaming of flying through the air in the rain. The refreshing drops soaked her, making her body nice and cold. She breathed frost onto some of the drops falling through the air, making then freeze solid.
