Diana sighed contently in the wind. "Neither have I. it's nice"

Ender couldn't help but agree with her.

"See any deers?"

Diana looked around. "Nothing yet."

Ender began to search the ground for a sign of any wildlife, but to no avail.

Diana sighed. "There have to some around here somewhere."

Ender continued to look, then caught sign of an odd mammal walking in the forest. The mammal was walking on two legs and was holding what seemed to be a large tooth in his hand. He called to Diana and said,

"Hey, look at that!"

Diana looked over. "What the hell is that?"

Ender continued to stare at it.

"I don't know... let's get closer!"

Diana nodded and flew towards it.

As they flew closer, he began to notice that the two leg was stenched with the scent of dragon blood. He almost retched right in the sky.

Diana slowed. "I smell blood.."

Ender motioned his head to a nearby cliff as he quickly flew over to it, his stomach upside down.

Diana followed and landed on the edge, pulling herself up. "Blood.."

Ender laid his head on the ground, blood rushing to his temple.

"Dragon blood."

Diana hung her head and closed her eyes.

Ender closed his own and began to breathe hard.

"It's true..."

Diana lay down on the ground, her wings covering her head.

Ender crawled over to Diana as he saw she was taking it worse than he was.

"Hey... listen. It's going to be fine..."

Diana looked up at him. "What if they find us?"

Ender shook his head fiercely.

"They won't, I'll make sure of it."

Diana looked back down at the forest. "I wonder why they're killing dragons."

Ender looked down as well.

"Two legs kill anything that is not them..."

Diana sighed. "It seems so.."

Ender sighed softly.

"We're the last two... and I'm going to protect you, no matter what."

Diana smiled back. "I'll protect you too. The best I can."
