Spoilers Don't Work Everywhere?

I just saw a thread talking about spoilers and I just had to ask about the problem I've encountered for a while but I never got to ask about it because It would look rather dumb.

Lets get to the point, I would like to put a spoiler in my signature and it doesn't work. If I am not mistaken I haven't seen any spoilers in signature and I really don't mind if it stays that way. The only thing that is bugging me right now is that I can't put spoilers on my profile page.

I tried using..

(spoiler) (/spoiler) Yes, I know you use [ ].

and it doesn't work except on thread posts such as this one.

If I am too dumb to realize how spoilers work on this forum please do tell.

I'm pretty sure they should work on signature's and profile pages.

I just tested using them on my profile page, they worked fine.

Same case with my signature.

 

No BBCode works in the status updates however.

edit: it does... I used ( ) and it worked fine.

I guess somepony somewhat learnt something.

 

Anyway, I've tried multiple times to put a spoiler on my profile page and it doesn't work.
