Haste and Draco returned from a small fight with a couple of Lunarians which they managed to capture, both Haste and Draco had small scars and a few bruises "huh, Guess they didn't see that coming, right Draco?" said Haste to her Dragon friend which escorted 3 Lunarians, 2 of them earth ponies, while the other a pegasus, who just nodded in response "-and don't even think of escaping Draco here will burn ya'h to crisp" Haste said chuckling "ya'h bet I will" Draco said chuckling as well. Haste stopped "woah, what in the hay happened to you guys?" she said walking towards Snow, and Linus "your horn it's burnt, and half of it is missing" she said the end spying it and cocking an eyebrow "bet it was some of them Lunarians" Draco said from behind her, still looking down at the captured ponies

Celestia sat in the grimly dark war room. In front of her lay a large map of Equestria

"Now, obviously, if we lose Ponyville, it will be a major moral victory for Luna. But I don't know how much longer Ponyville can withstand enemy artillery fire. If the city is destroyed, so will our nation's will to fight. The only problem is, if we decide to assault the mountain, casualties will be massive, and the Everfree forest will be inadequately surrounded. We need as many troops cutting out supply into their as we can, but then Ponyville can't be defended....ARGH!" Celestia flung the map across the room, shaking with rage.

 

Spitfire, the Wonderbolt captain and flight genius, stood up. "Princess, if need be, I can scramble several air units around the mountains to shell them into hiding. Scout units have determined a major lack of anti air defenses. Why don't you take a break, you've been working on this strategy since morning. We'll go from here."

 

There was a murmur of agreements and nods from the Council. Most of them were promoted through politics rather than ability, and so Celestia was one of the few with any strategic talent.

 

The Sun Goddess nodded, bringing her coffee with her as she left the room. After a quick stop to the bathroom, she decided to check on the prisoners.

One of the Guards came closer "I can explain, your Majesty. The Unicorn who tried to escape several times, managed to escape from his cell, and he was about to kill on of our own until Swift told him to leave, he really had no choice, since he threatened to kill one of us"
