Try darker shades of the color it's touching, think it might help the image out. It feels really squiggly too; MS Paint I presume? Other than that, I don't see too much wrong here. The proportions are accurate and it's presented, while blandly with the greyed backdrop, fairly well while presenting us with a nice gesture.
