POWER TO THE PONIES!

Greetings everypony, Professor Power here.

I joined this forum to get closer to this amazing community of bronies and look forward to the thriving future we are building together.

Anyways, I have an oral presentation assignment for my schoolwork in Media and the topic I wish to discuss is the Brony Phenomenon.

Although I have sourced and found relevant information for liking the show but I find it heinous to neglect asking my fellow bronies for their personal opinions. Our presence is the lifeblood of this community after all.

Thus I would deeply appreciate it if every pony who reads this to share why you support My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

my opinion about bronies and why they like this show is because the way it is illustrated. meaning, the way the show is made, the morale, the comedic scenes, it just clicks with the way men think. did i help?:3

The show...... is good. Therefore, a logical outcome of that is such that people will like the show. Therefore, bronies. Therefore, I rest my case. Therefore, therefore becomes repetitious.

There are good pony-fans, and bad pony-fans; just as there are good and bad people in any group. Of course there's that whole "gay pedophile" thing pony-fans get a bad rap for; but there are just as many (if not more) "gay pedophiles" who have never heard of the show. Am I more likely to rob a bank watching a 70s Cop-Show? Am I more likely to become a girl if I watch a show about colorful cartoon horses?

I wouldn't necessarily call myself a 'brony' (mainly because it's just one of those words I can't roll off my tongue very easily,) but I support the community for all they've done in the past year or so.

Charities all over the place have sprouted up. You can google "Brony Charity" and get a crap load of results of legit charities that have done tons of good so far, and have plans to do even more. Where's the charities for all those so-called "masculine" shows?

Fan generated content everywhere, AMAZING fan-generated content. Heck, most of those songs I could imagine anyone listening to if they didn't know it was pony-based at first!

Plus, it's the best show on right now. Sorry folks, but I freaking hate Cartoon Network and ever last one of their shows right now. I don't understand how so many people can like Adventure Time, but that's just me. It was the only show worth waking up on Saturday Mornings (especially now that Toon Disney was replaced by the ungodly XD which turned into an even crappier Disney--WHERE IS MY DUCKTALES!?!?!?) This show, despite being new, brings back so many memories of waking up in the morning, and actually ENJOYING MORNING TELEVISION. You can easily tell they actually care about this show, and aren't in it to sell a bunch of crappy happy-meal toys for the week the show even exists *cough* every last one of those hot wheels shows *cough*

Yes, it's a show for girls teaching friendship. But honestly, the world needs more friendship; regardless who teaches the lesson. "Love thy neighbor" is a good principal, regardless if you believe in whatever holy text it came from.

Well, umm, I really don't need a reason for liking a show. I just like it and that is all to it. I can never really come up with a reason for actually liking it or supporting it. Maybe because it makes me laughs. Maybe because it seperates me from the rest of my school, and community near me that I know. Who really knows my reason.

Hey but welcome to the forums.
