Nightfall sat there for a moment. He honestly felt that at least one of these would come true. But he couldn't tell that to Blade. It might... who knows what it would do?

Nightfall stepped in and stood, with the water just under his body. He smiled. Seeing Blade happy made him happy. He stepped in until the top of his body was just out of the water. The water felt good.

Wouldn't want to be falling asleep during the meeting, now would we?" With that, Nightfall and Vinyl went back to bed. Vinyl laid down with her back to Nightfall. Nightfall wrapped his hooves around Vinyl and they both fell asleep.

 

The morning broke the next day, with an odd bluish tint to the sun. The Front Soldiers who actually stayed at base camp slowly awoke and left their cottages, very early, to began drills and ready their equipment. It was 0530 hours, and Wits was setting up the conference room for the meeting.

Vinyl and Nightfall stepped out of their cottage and walked over to the camp, both with determined looks on their faces (idk maybe it's the music I'm listening to right now). "Wits, Vinyl Blade and Nightfall reporting in."
