Kaneki 1,073 July 26, 2012 Share July 26, 2012 Which is better for a wireless bridge? I'm trying to create one for a laptop that doesn't have wireless access yet, and the router is downstairs.

tanoshii 131 July 26, 2012 Share July 26, 2012 For all it's worth, I've been using DD-WRT on my DIR-615 for a few months now and haven't ever run into any problems. Because of the lack of problems, I'd probably recommend DD-WRT, only because I haven't used OpenWRT and to use it on my router would require me to manually build the firmware binary. http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Bridged top lel

Kaneki 1,073 July 26, 2012 Author Share July 26, 2012 I gave up on it and ended up buying a TP-LINK adapter off Amazon. It's ath9k drivers so it should work natively.
