Jaide followed Star towards the diner while taking an eye full of the surroundings. "Canterlot is very pretty you know. It's not like Ponyville at all. Elegant buildings, high ponies elegant ponies, elegant castles. It's all elegant,"

Blossom Bloom began to follow Star and Jaide out of the park and into town. "Yes i've noticed. Everything here is so fancy and beautiful. I wonder if it's expensive to live here." she answered Jaide as she stared up at the flower trees that she was admiring this morning.

Jaide, while still looking around, replied to Blossom Bloom, "Well I live in a hotel right now. They charge you 7 bits a week for staying there. Might not seem like much but it adds up. 3 bits more if you use room service."

"Hmmm...Well, I live in Ponyville. This is my second time visiting. Although I did live in Canterlot for like 2 years...but I don't really remember that." she stuck her tongue out a little and giggled again. "I wouldnt really mind living here again though."

"I would like to live here too. The princess being here and all. And the gala. I never actually got to go," Jaide stopped suddenly making Blossom Bloom bump into her. "Look what I found!" Jaide shouted as she picked up a shiny object.

"Are you just visiting? Where are yo-oof!" Blossom Bloom was cut off by Jaide's body bumping into hers. "How come you st-ooooooo what's that?" she said as she looked at the shiny object that Jaide was holding.

Jaide looked at Blossom Bloom and replied, "Oh this? Well it was just on the ground and I just picked it up. Looks like something royal of some sort," She scratched her head and put it in her saddle pack. "Better keep it safe. Anyways, I am just visiting. I will be living in about a month or so,"

"It looks really pretty!" she said excitedly.After Jaide put it away,she continued their conversation "I hope I'm not being rude but are you visiting because of some business you need to take care of? She asked.

"No not really. Just came here to tour the place. I don't know when the next gala is going to take place but I hope it takes place when I'm here. Wouldn't want to miss it when I leave," Jaide replied to Blossom Bloom's question.

"The...gala...?" Blossom Bloom had heard of the famous "gala" but she didnt exactly know what it was. "What is it exactly?" she directed the question to both Jaide and Star.

"The gala? It's one of the biggest parties in Canterlot. Many high class ponies attend it, but in my opinion, it's not much of a party at all. It's such a bore. Everypony just brags about how famous they are,"

"Are ponies that arent so famous,such as myself,allowed to go?" she asked Star. Blossom Bloom loved parties but the way Star described it made it sound not so great. She was interested nonetheless. "I think it would be interesting to go. Have you attended each one?every year?"

"Well I never actually attended the gala. So I don't have much info. But I do hope they have one this year." Jaide said a bit excited.

"Well Star, tell me something. How CAN we get the tickets? I mean, I've been trying to get some better never succeeded. Maybe we should ask Vinyl when there's another gala and maybe ask for tickets?"..

"Wow! Sounds pretty exciting! Do you know when it is?Also, why do they have it?" she asked Star. Blossom started to get more excited the more they talked about it. "Do they have good food?" she wondered aloud,as she remembered that she was STARVING.

Tune Twist turned his gaze to the bench he was sitting at yesterday. He looked closely and saw his headphones hanging on the backrest. "There they are!" He said, relieved. He went over to the bench and levitated them back onto his neck, pressing the play button on his MP3 player. "Party In Equestria" began playing in his ears. "Now, to get some breakfast." He told himself. He galloped over to The Hay Stack and ask the waiter for a table for one.

"Oh yeah I forgot all about the food. All that talk about the gala made me forget. Anyways, lead the way Star. I am starving here," Jaide said as she continued to walk onwards. She could already see, smell, and taste the food.

The ponies got lost in their conversation and they didn't realize that they were right outside the restaurant. Vinyl noticed them, but since they were already preoccupied with their own conversation, she didn't talk to them.

Jaide was too busy daydreaming about the food, that she accidently hit the doors of the restaurant. "Ouch," she said as she rubbed her snout. "Ohh! So this is the place you were talking about! Looks nice," she said as she pushed the doors to get in.

The ponies got lost in their conversation and they didn't realize that they were right outside the restaurant. Vinyl noticed them, but since they were already preoccupied with their own conversation, she didn't talk to them.

 

Nightfall pulled up a chair and order a cup of coffee. He also noticed the other ponies. Some of them looked like ones he had seen yesterday. That meant he could make more friends. He needed friends...

"You could ask Vinyl- Oh right! We still need to get to the diner!" Since the three ponies weren't too far away, they arrived in a matter of minutes, "Well, here we are!" Star smiled and entered the diner.
