Hey everypony!! I did another super quick dragon sketch today. I try to take a little break from work everyday to draw a little something like this

 

Please, tell me what you think! I love to hear what everypony has to say because feedback is one of the things that helps me improve most!

Intersting. If you're aiming to make the viewer look closer for hidden details (like maybe a face), then you nailed it. Altho' you say it is 'posta be a dragon, so I'm probaly overthinking it.... I like this style either way.

Hmm... Can you not see the face (clearly or at all) on your monitor? I have a very bright monitor so no one seemed to have trouble while looking at it with mine, but perhaps that's something I should think about...

i am wondering, do you draw these in a sketchbook? or on random sheets... if you do do them in a book id love to see bookscans. i love sketchbooks

 

you get such a special intimate look into someone's artistic "vision" if you will, by looking through their sketchbook that you can't really get a sense of through individual drawings.

These particular sketches are actually digital. I like the convenience of drawing on the computer though I feel a need to make sure it feels as close to pencil and paper as possible. When drawing on actual paper though, I always make sure to do so in my drawing book. (I do a lot more sketching digitally than on paper because it's cheaper )

Oh I can see it alright. Perfectly clear, matter of fact. I was simply pointing out what it reminded me of, and I guess I was kinda hopeing to provide inspiration ...or something, I'unno.

 

I admit I couldn't exactly convey my whole message right. It was late and I'd missed my meds for that day. Normally whenever I do tho', it usually ends up alot more disasterous.... In fact this might've been the best possible outcome 0.o"

oh wow!!! they look like pencil... i had no idea - that is amazing! oh technology these days... cool!
