Doc Dizzy! (Violet Spirals)

Hey guys, so i was bored and and came up with the idea of Violet Spirals as a Doctor, i got this idea from a comment on Dizzy's status, Anyway here it is.

Though I feel the side bang on her left ear should swoop in and out to a tip to help bring the face out more. And what's with the white part by the tail? Not sure what that is.

Ah, I see now. And I'm not sure if you purposely forgot the wings, though I can see reason to leave them out. I'd never seen a Pegasi doctor in the show and it makes more sense for it being an Earth pony as a doctor. A Unicorn probably wouldn't work either since it looks like all their magic pertains to actions of control to certain things but not fully curing ailments, but that observation is beside the point to your work here.

And i gave Violet a "Filly look" because i had the ideas from Twilight as a filly with her plush she use to play with

 

So it could be Violet playing doctor or something

It's actually pretty interesting. And what IS the name for the headgear? I may use that as a variation to some accessory wear for some pony models I'm making for armor sets for a fandom video game. It's pretty much the only pony art I'm doing at the moment, rather be working on my Zombie poster right now and practice using my new Adobe CS6

Huh. I just went to look it up and don't see anything, looks like it was used by ENT doctors though back in the day for lighting up what they were looking at, so"Doctors Headlight" makes sense here.

Apparently there really isn't a name for them; it more or less has different terms that describe it, such as your "Doctor Headlight" to the more common "head mirror"

 

It's not in use much today since doctors can now use real light in replacement, but they were more heavily used in the 80's. Pretty much doctors would reflect the light off of them and use it to look at their patients. It was mostly used by ENT doctors (Ear-Nose-Throat) to look at their patients orifices.

Actually that white part by my tail is my secondary tail made of feathers, I have them growing from my croup, right over my dock ;3 It's one of my own unique features I dreamed of having on my OC. ;3

I'm not so certain about your future. If Doctor Horrible has taught me anything, it's that lab coats are very fashionable. Of course, he was evil. Who's to say god sided doctors won't be as fashionable in their fez? I'd prefer a Fedora myself.
