my SwiftXSpitfire (noob) Drawing

well after seeing Speedy's and Sam's awesome drawings i felt i should give it a try because i haven't rely drawn two ponys on the same page and i didn't feel confident enough,and after seeing there xSpitfire drawings the voice in the back of my head started to tell me to give it a try, which is weird because that normally happens on a Tuesday not a Friday... bleh i'm babbling sorry

well here it is in all its noob glory

 

 

now feel free to give it the good old fail stamp and tell me how i can improve.

It's not bad,

 

Spitfire's legs could use a little work, the one that distracts me the most is her left hind leg, I might be wrong, it just looked a little odd ^.^

 

the closed eye on Swift could be placed a little more up

 

and the head on your oc looks a little odd, it can be fixed though, other than that it looks pretty great

 

how much did this take you to draw? x)

It's much better than any drawing I could ever draw with my own hoof. Somehow it feels like your OC is eating Spitfire's muzzle, but anyway nice attempt!

*facehoof* yeah once i posted it all the flaws just slapped me in the face.

 

i don't rely know how long but i do a big draft of it to get the size and shape to a sensible point which take around 5 minutes the i rub it out and layer over then its rinse and repeat till i looks passable and decent so around 15- 20 minutes maybe less

 

this was the 2nd try i just kept getting it wrong with the first sheet of paper

if it does become a fad however i see Spitfire being a part of the first series of pony Bachelorette

well i had my first go a vectoring (with paint.net) which i think makes it look better now its in color but i had to do it by mouse and it shows
