Clover found this very amusing to herself. "Ohh so you wanted us both to sleep on the couch then?" She said with a sarcastic tone, trying to sound seductive yet upset. "You still think i'm that kind of mare, don't you?" She said trying to hint to him that she was just messing with him again.

Amare was beginning to get confused, what with all the winking, and changing of tones, and the accusations. He could faintly hear his mother's voice in his head saying "... so you'd better treat all mares with respect, you hear me!" That was what he was trying to do, but this was getting very hard... "I ju- no you don- ughh," He was having a very hard time forming a sentence at this point.

Clover began to look concerned and when she saw him having an even harder time putting together his words, she quickly hugged him. "Relax... I was just messing around with you" She whispered to him quietly. "He's so shy it's kinda cute..." She thought to herself

"What?" he asked her, confused. "You were just, messing with me?" he said slightly, no, majorly embarrassed. He turned away from the mare, if he was blushing any more, his head would be as red as a tomato.

Luna Swift flew down to a low cloud over looking the ponies that were talking. She sighed and put her head on her hoofs. Luna had been flying from town to town, looking for a safe and warm place to stay.

Now Clover thought she could have some real fun, there was something about teasing Amare that made her happy, maybe it was because she hasn't had this much fun in a while, or because it was of her nature to do things like this. "What's wrong now? You aren't mad at me are you? And what about earlier when you said you would never do anything like sleep in the same bed as me?" She sad as she started to pretend to cry "Am I not pretty?" She said with almost the same tone as rarity when she was wining to the diamond dogs.

"uh oh..." WHY DID YOU SAY THAT! he yelled in his mind. "No, you see, ugh your very VERY pretty, you umm- you don't need to cry!" he had no idea what to say... "It's not that I don't want to sleep in the same bed as you it's ju-" He froze mid sentence, WHAT DID HE JUST SAY?!

Clover was going to keep going, but she started laughing and she took a moment to stop, afterwards she hugged him again "Relax, it's okay Amare, you are really sweet for letting me stay with you" She said to him as she kissed him on the cheek "Just relax, sorry if I keep messing with you, you are just so hoovin' cute!" She said to him as she trotted over and laid down on his couch

'Well..... wow' he thought to himself. This was the longest he'd ever been around a mare... he always seemed socially awkward to most. And why did she have so much fun teasing him? This had been one crazy day, after all, he had just wanted to buy some food and he ended up taking in a Unicorn... What next?

Clover looked over at Amare and heard her stomach grumble, she was getting kind of hungry since she hadn't eaten since Sugar Cube Corner with Byron at Ponyville. "Hey Amare um... What's for lunch?" She asked trying not to sound greedy.

"Lunch?" Amare said surprisingly. oh yeah, instead of buying food, he had brought home a stranger. "Oh well, you see, about that..." He didnt feel like telling her that it was her fault he had no food currently. "I don't actually have much here, but I now a good place to eat out... oh i mean that is, if you are interested?"

Clover giggled and she couldn't stand how shy he was acting, she got up and trotted over to him. "Well let's go, ya player" She teased as she grabbed her cloak and put it over herself. "So where are you taking me Amare?" she asked quietly.

"Well there is this one place I usually go to, its called Apple Garden. Its an okay place and not to uptight." Amare was doing his best to not seem shy or awkward, and he wondered if she noticed.

Holo made sure the pony was ok, then ran back to his house. Setting up his bass cannon and turntables, he started playing loud music. Holo plugged in a microphone to a speaker system he set up through Canterlot. "Hey everypony! It's party time!" Holo shouted in the mic. He then proceeded to play music.

Clover giggled when she noticed he was able to actually talk to her now with out stuttering or having to catch his breath. He was starting to get comfortable with her. That made Clover feel a little bit uncomfortable, but she wouldn't show it. "let's go then! It sounds nice..." She said looking at the ground, she really hadn't eaten in a while.

And so the two trotted off to go get lunch. The whole way there, Amare kept stealing glances at the strange unicorn. There was definitly something mysterious about her. But it wasn't her appearance or her general "feel" that was strange... Amare's thoughts continued to drift back to some of the things that Clover had said when he first met her. This made Amare wonder if hanging out with this unicorn, would allow for her past to somehow kick him in the flank. However he brushed aside all those dreary ideas in his head, he should be gratefull that he was atleast enjoying his time off from work. And the fact that a lovely mare was willing to spend that time with him.

 

They arrived at Apple Garden without much being said. They were shown to their tables and were waiting to order...

Clover sighed in relief rather loudly as they sat down together, she hadn't been relaxed since she first stepped foot out of Canterlot the first time. She had been getting angry whenever anything had reminded her of her life in Canterlot, or her parents, or the disappearance of her brother. She knew her family would find out she was back in no time, and probably try to force her to go back home and live with them as if nothing happened, but this time she was ready, she had learned enough about magic to be able to resist, but not for long anyways, she would have to leave again if they had found her out. "I hope they don't find out too soon..." She accidentally spoke out loud.

Amare was browsing the menu, looking for something appetizing, when he suddenly heard clover say something. He almost wished that he hadn't heard it though. "Umm who- ugh who do you hope doesnt find out what?" he managed to ask.

Clover almost forgot completely that she was at lunch with Amare. "Oh, sorry, it um, it doesn't matter- We can talk about it later!" she quickly said and before he could speak again, she looked to the waiter and said "I think umm... I'll have whatever Amare has." She quickly said and pointed at her friend.

Amare hastened his pace of looking through the menu, as to not keep her waiting. "ahah" he exclaimed, "We'll have the Apple al'orange, with the steamed celery and cabbage salad." he said as the waiter took note of the order. He then looked at clover, trying to find something to say.

Holo heard a knock at the door, and, thinking he accidentally locked the door, he opened the door. What he saw was a pony who looked just like him, but without the wings. "W-wh-wh- Who are you?" Holo asked.

Vinyl scanned the pegasus in front of her, she looked up and down at him with her glasses off, and quickly put her glasses back on and then held out her hoof. "The name's Vinyl" She said with a slight grin. "You called me for 'Backup' right?" She said with a seemingly irritated tone

 

Clover listened to what Amare had ordered and her mouth was almost dripping, she noticed Amare looking at her, and so she decided to start a conversation. "So where are you from?.. Why are you in Canterlot?" She said quickly.

Well.. this was new to Amare. Usually most ponies weren't interested in his life, or where he came from. "Oh.. well I, ummm..."He didn't want to bore her by talking about his quaint life. "Well, you see, its a- its not very interesting of a story."He was getting nervous... WHY was he getting nervous again?

Holo stared at Vynil, and decided it must be nothing. "Yeah! I needed you to play one of the turntables." Holo said. "I heard you were the best in Equestria, so I decided to ask you." Holo lead Vynil over to the other turntable. "By the way, wanna know what's odd? Both of our last names are Scratch, but it's nothing, probably."

Drizzle Dare got out of his bed, got up and walk outside to be greeted with the hordes of ponies flooding the marketplace, He grunted and said to himself "Whata place to build a house" as he stumbled back into his humble home and fell back into bed.

 

A few hours later he got up look around and sat on sat on the egde of his bed until he was fully awake, after fully waking up he walked out of his house and walked down the street thinking to himself "what am i going to do today?" as he walked he he said to himself "Well... i do need some more apples" then a great idea poped in his head then he said to himself with glee (not letting anypony around knowing how happy he was) "I can go down to ponyville and get some apples there!" as he said that he found himself already standing in the door way of his house "Might as well get ready for the trip" he said while packing assorted things to trade and sell.

 

He was never really this happy to the point where it showed on his face,"I cant wait to get to ponyville!" He said to himself after just leaving Canterlot, As he made his way to ponyville he past many ponies but never did he once give a glance to one and was trying his hardest not to smile,He met many traders on there why to Canterlot he stoped for a while and sold a few nicks and nacks but nothing good he was saving it for ponyville, After reaching ponyville he was confronted by and pink pony who said this "Hi im Pinki Pie and are you new to town because you look like you're new to town!?" she said loudly almost yelling it "No im not. im here to get some things and get out" he said trying to sound mean as possible but it was hard after coming back to a place he loved but never seen for a long time but now he sees everything like he saw it back so he was happier then Pinki pie but he did his best to contain it, After Pinki got chased of by a purple pony after she got into his field of view he saw that she to... was a unicorn "Sorry about her shes... well happy to so see new ponies.. well.. any pony" she said "Its fine" he grunted as he walked past her making his way to the market The purple pony followed "Well im Twilight Sparkle but you can just call me Twilight" She said "Well im Drizzle.. Dare nice to meet you" he said while picking up pace trying to out run Twilight.
