I think you may want to try and state exactly what would be needed and any information pertaining to the comic that would be relevant to state for when you are asking for help like this.

Such as -

What style of art are you looking for? Vector? Pixel? Crayola? Painterly? Or something that meshes together?

What formatting of pages are you doing? Is it in 3 page line, 4 page bock, 1 horizontal line strip or something related to comic books?

How much work is needed for the artist? Is this something you can mull around and talk to the artist about or is it a more strict down the line type of work you have in mind?

When do you plan on publishing the work and what schedules are needed for this? Most web comics usually have a schedule such as two times a week or something similar, how do you work?

Where exactly will this be published? Is there a website you will have up for it, something like a Tumblr or website dedicated to web comics?

Is this something that the artist could also publish as well such as characters they have worked on or possibly even full strips/pages of the work? It shouldn't go too far out of bounds such as a full re-publishing on another website of very strip but something manageable to put it into such as a DA account or if they had a Tumblr.

And finally, what exactly IS this going to be about? Is there a focus on it being about this show or is it an original work you have? Is it something that you would be willing to work with and change if the artist asks? Of course it should be mentioned that you could ask for changes in art appearances if it doesn't fit the material you have; fair IS fair after all. Just make sure that any changes should be pertinent to helping the comic in a whole, whether that would mean a whole chapter rewrite on your end or full new page layouts for the artist could happen.

I'm pretty sure there are other things to ask and things that would need discussing but these right here seem to be the most important that come to mind at the moment.

This is an additional add on to what I had just previously commented up above, but I've realized many people don't follow their own topics. If you do that you can immediately get a topic notice when someone comments on your topic and you can check back.

Also, clicking quote on another persons comment will have them recognize you are trying to talk to them when you are attempting to reply to what they have said. I've seen many new people just typing a comment as a reply instead of hitting the quote button as a proper reply response so all parties may better speak to one another.

Im not an artist (though I took some art classes) but I would like it to be the same style as the show is, looking the sae as the show, but just pictures.

It is a comic format, and it will have panels on a page. The number of panels per page will differ with the script, and will be subject to change if the artist or writer see it fit.

I have a set script yes, however it is also subject to change by either the writer or the author. Not everthing is set in stone.

Well, the schedule would be up for discussion but I would like at least one page a week. Now this is one comic, but if this is rather successful and popular, than it may be a series of adventures including some of the characters the artist and writer has added through out the first stories.

Well the main site would most likely be tumblr, but it could be posted other places. however if we have a series of stories it cant just be named after the first story. Most likely tumblr

I agree they should be able to post it, they did the brunt of the work so they should be able to post created characters, or other strips if they want.

Well it begins with princess celestia summoning many ponies around Equestria to come to her court on short notice. This is shown by twilight getting a letter through spike. Before too long the girls are on the train, wondering what the whole thing is about. When they arrive, they see alot of ponies, nearly half of Equestria. the get greeted by princess Cadence and soon Princess Celestia calls for everyones attention, Luna is also with her. She announces that the Summer Sun celebration will be renamed The Summer Sun & Moon Celebration. Evveryone begins cheering, but a light shows up next to Princess Celestia and and when its clear a unicorn wearing a mask and armor is standing there. He gives a sort of gives a speech as to why he is there and soon shows his intentions: he wants the elements of harmony. In order toget this he intends to kidnap the Princess. When Celestia says she wont, The unicorn named sorrow laughs. He tells the princess to practice modesty and teleports to Luna. He tells her to not fight it, and celestia gets angry, firing a beam of light. However sorrow reflects this with a shield and it bounces away. He tell the people that he wants the 6 Saviors of canterlot to deliver them to a cave past where the elements of harmoney were found. He then teleports the princess and himself away, leaving alot of ponies confused.

This is subject to change by either the writer, or by request from the artist. The artist may ask to add some characters and the writer will do the best he can to put them in, either by large or small role in the story.

Does that answer the most vital questions?

I dont know if you were simply helping, or if you were interested... But does it sound interesting? It is subject to change of course!

Personally as of right now I am losing some of my creative thinking skills towards art. It's a bit hard to continue when you study for so long and get nowhere. Hopefully my classes in the fall will accompany any type of failure I have at learning to fix this. As for how you stated on what information you had on your comic, it sounds very reasonable and not too extraneous of tasks to do for either party.

Right now though you should try and type out your story in full if possible and ask about help there first. Most people usually get an idea down for a comic and immediately attempt to get it out but tend to forget to either proof read their stuff or see how compatible it is to a viewer/reader. By getting others opinions you open yourself up to allowing yourself an insight on how people view your story as a whole and to see if any corrections to the plot or scenes should be changed around, though understandable if you want only a small select to do so into keeping it from others just taking it.

As for help on your comic being drawn you should lurk around the fan art section of this site and start viewing some of the work others do. After finding some people there with work you like maybe you can attempt a PM to them asking about an attempt to making the comic work out? People here are fairly friendly and in the least I can only see them saying no in a polite manner.
