How did you find MLP Forums?: I would always google something pony related, and I'd always get directed here

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I've got some friends I go to school with that are bronies. They'd always talk about the show, and my response was always something along the lines of "nope.avi" I just couldn't see myself watching it.

Summer rolls around, and I pick up TF2 again. Hadn't played in a year, so all my favorite servers had moved, died, or emptied out. So, i just went to quickplay and just said "Find me a server!" So, I wait a few minutes, finds a new server, puts me in it. MOTD Reads:

"Welcome to the Legion of Ponies servers!"

Being a non-brony at the time, walking out of spawn to see the entire wall filled with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie was a little...much. But, it seemed like a good server, and I had an extremely low ping, so I gave it a shot.

All I did for the next week was play TF2 on these servers. It was...alluring. Everyone named their items pony names, people would come on and play music, both from the show and from the fandom, and the people here were awesome.

Talking to one of the guys I met on the server one night, I had said a some point that I don't actually watch the show. He said to go to this youtube channel and give the first 3-4 episodes a shot. Thinking "Oh, it's 11 PM, and all I'm doing is gaming, I've got time." I went out, researched the show a bit, and gave it a shot.

I watched ponies until 4 AM, which was well over half of Season One. I was immediately hooked.

Hey everypony! Names SpyhunterBG, but most just call me Spy. I have, admittedly, lurked these forums for a couple days. I'd be looking for something pony related, and MLP Forums would always come up in my search results. So, I looked around, and not only are the forums beautiful and well put together, the community here's awesome. This is something I've been looking to find for quite some time; out here in the sticks, bronies are a bit of a...Rarity, if you will.

It never fails to amaze me just how ridiculously high up this site often appears in search results for pony stuff.

 

The compliments are appreciated, I can assure you - a great deal of time and energy was put into making this place as polished and attractive as possible from day one.

Hiya, welcome to the forums! I'm new as well (and therefore not much help ^^; ) but whatever, I can do this welcome thing!

 

That certainly was an interesting story! A while back, I saw some videos for TF2 pony mods and they looked pretty awesome. But while I'd love to try out TF2 (along with a heap of other games) the free space indicator in my hard drive is begging me not to. ^^;

You seem like a very interesting member to talk to! And yes, there are plenty of gamers here. We also have a TF2 server (I think) and a Minecraft Server (though I'm not sure if it's availible at this time). Also, we have tons of people here with Steam, so you can chat away about the latest PC games! I myself play a bit of Minecraft. I'm sure you'll fit right in here at MLP forums!

 

Also, it's good to see a Rarity fan here on the forums. Barely anyone cares for Applejack or Rarity. But glad to see you have your favorite pony as Rarity. And I found this forum too on Google. Good to see how high in popularity this forum is! Anyways, try to stay active, and I hope you enjoy your time here at MLP forums.
