ok put the fanboy in your head to one side and come to the conclusion that most people here haven't read PC Superman thus that has been excluded from the topic its just good old superman VS Celestia, i'll read PC superman if i get the chance and put him up against someone who is a real challenge like Void Sentry

 

 

the fact that you bring up PC Superman is because you not thinking of all the possibility's you just think Superman would win hands down due the fanboyness while people like my self are actually thinking it all though and playing the fight though my head....... why the hell isn't AquaMan #12 out yet

Well im going by the version of Superman that would last the best against Celestia. If she is as powerful as she is supposed to be. You made your case with Post Crisis Superman and yeah he would give her a good fight but she could beat him. Pre Crisis was a entirely different animal though and could potentially beat her with little effort. I dont know a good balance.

Celestia RAISES the sun.

Superman has laser eyes.

Celestia has kick ass horn with MAGIKZ

Celestia can fly (not as fast) teleport and run at high speeds considering he is a horse. Also Im certain she know spells that can increase speed.

Also Kyrpton is a gas. It is extremely hard to solidify but it has been done for the superman 70th anniversary.

Anyway Krypton contains no magic properties but it still drains his powers.

Krypton is a noble gas with a high number of electrons. It has a half-life of around 230,000 years.

Superman is a tough opponent but considering Celestia has been around for thousands of years and can raise the sun AND the moon every day and still be able to make royal appearances says something about her stamina.

The sun weighs about two thousand trillion tons. When Twilight was little she could barely lift a book. That DEFINITELY shows something about Celestias strength.

actually I've just run some of the fights in my head and Superman would win, all he rely needs to do is take the fight in the air and knock Celestia off balance to the point she can focus on her magic and then one hit and its over.

 

Celestia would win if the arena was very closed off and small and she would need to hit Superman with a few good spells just to slow him down long enough to banish him

 

i used the information front the season finally to come to the conclusion that Celestia cant take a strong hit

 

Superman wins due to his speed and maneuverability in the air

OK this will be stats based none of what Superman had done in any issue will be taken into account because with all the ways he has been written it just cant be accurate

 

Superman

 

Strength: 8.5 - he has super strength but he can be overpowered

Speed: 9 on land 7.5 in the air- he is slower in the air and faster on foot but again he's not the fastest, even tho he a even beated the flash in a race it was stated that the flash let superman win because it was all for charity

Fighting: 5 - he mainly relies on his super strength and not his fighting prowess

Durability: 9 on earth ? on other planets- it all depends on the atmosphere of the planet he is on but he is indestructible but has weaknesses.

Intelligence:- 6 + - he's not super smart but he and read and learn super fast

Magic: 0 - he is weak against magic but its only crippling it wont stop him in his tracks

 

Celestia is gonna be a bit hard for me to do but i'll have to deal

Strength : 3 but 7 if she knows any strength enhancing spells

Speed: 10 if she can teleport like twilight can but if not, 3 on foot 6 in the air

Fighting: 4 i recon she knows quite abit she is other 1000 years old

Durability: 2 one hit and she is down but 7 if she uses magical barriers

Intelligence: 8 the wisdom of her age

Magic: 10 shes likely more powerful then twilight in the magical department and can control the sun.

i thing if the fight played out superman would use his speed but Celestia would teleport around but if superman used his ice breath it would be taken to the air, superman would then have the advantage. some else carry on

yeah thats a movie they have a time limit so of course there gona do that in the comic he is slower then the flash and the flask who is the only DC character who can travel at the speed of light with out the use of a boom tube (teleporter )

 

also its only 9 when he is on foot he is allot slower in the air because of his ability to fly (which is has been debated that he can control his mass and the mass around him in the air.

 

all of my stats i gave him were from the comics and i narrowed it down to a average based on all the different writers for him over the years.

in a strait up fight no kryptonite or elements of harmony , Celestia would win simple because Superman biggest weakness next to Knite is Magic. she could just freeze him in time.

 

also Superman is not OP he has had his ass kick my many DC characters, if you want OP..... Sentry, however if he got over his agoraphobia and fear of his power he would crack the world in 2 nothing would stop him.

Because i didnt start this JUST to be a "who hits who harder" its also a moral debate on who the better character. And just because he has 60 years of character development doesnt instantly make him better. I like Spiderman man better than him and hes had less character development.

Kryptonite IN CANON with DC has been stated impossilbe to duplicate.

1.) Its a radioactive material from the PLANET KRYPTON

2.) It varies in radiation from dimension to dimension

3.) it has been stated that it impossible to make Kryptonite because there is one vital ingrediente that doesnt come from Earth or isnt found on the Periodic Table.

So no. How would they even know about Kryptonite? Even in the DCverse it isnt well known.

Superman would win for sure, superman is vulnerable to magic, but no more than an average human, so we might as well take out defense, so now it's a matter of skill and power, so I think superman has the upper hand.

from what I understand Princess Celestias rule is a just one and as such Superman would have no reason to fight her. so unless superman when nuts from red kryptonite or some form of mind control this fight would never happen.

well it plays as a factor because Superman has much much more character then Celestia also if this was all moral based why constantly bring up how powerful he is.

he has be written multiple ways as a planet cracker and as someone who had his ass kicked by Aquaman, GreenLantern, Wonderwoman ect. and you have pretty much made the Pre and Post Crisis issues something i don't want to read.

 

if this was all based on a moral stand point Superman would end up on Equestria confused then Celestia would show up and talk to him they would likely find common ground and superman would fly off.

 

but since the title is Superman vs Celestia it make it a fight, and i don't go strait for the most OP Superman because well im not a fanboy, i'll average it down to make the fight at least interesting when i play it over and over in my head (sometimes superman wins the fight and sometimes celesta win )
