Celestia looks down anon the general. Why, Die Hard is our new Game Maker? Didn't you hear? And why would it matter to you? You asked rather rudely to a princess don't you think? Say... wouldn't it be a shame if you were to lose your horn... Her horn flashes and his horn disappears. So now you have your answers and your lesson. Anything else? The general doesn't move. He seems to be in shock from the loss of his horn. So sad. You were such a promising general... She flashes her horn and he is teleported to the Abyss of Demons. A terrible place deep within the most horrifying dimension of hell. Enjoy yourself general... Now what is this? Manitcores? Nice choice Die Hard.

 

Boss sees Medley get hit out of the sky by the manticore. He runs over to her crash site. Medley are you okay? Turns back to the manticore. Bastard! You'll pay for hurting my friends! He charges full speed at the manticore and draws his double bladed long sowrd. He swings it and tears off a piece of it's wing. Ha! How'd you like that?

Medley groaned but didn't get up. She heard Boss' voice, but when she tried to move, it hurt. She was covered in scratches and gashes from the thorns, and the impact had made it worse. The more she moved, the more new scratches she got from the throns surrounding her. She groaned again and fainted from blood loss.

The original game makers were talking amongst themselves. Is Game Maker dead? I think so, he went in the arena to control the tributes but his squad was annihilated. I'll bet those tributes had a few bones to pick with him. Now we've got to answer to one of them. You guys better not get on his bad side. He'll tear you up. Are you serious?! I'm not taking orders from him! I'm talking to Celestia. The gamemaker walked over to Celestia's quarters. Princess, are you seriously letting this tribute run the arena? Where's Game Maker?

(OOC: Sorry everypony, been pretty busy for a while, not gonna be able to post as much.)

Shade sat up, looking around at the savannah. "Diehard was busy..." Shade said. She tried to move, but found herself stuck in a magical bubble. Someone or something was healing her wounds! But then she recognized the spell being cast. This specific spell took 3 weeks of meditation! It was gonna be a long wait in the impenetrable bubble.

(OOC: Doing this so you won't have to wait. Boss, don't dare kill me off!)

DD looks at all the screens around him. Watching the other tributes as they fight what comes their way. He heard one of the other game makers yell and walk out. What seems to be his problem? Oh and for those of you wondering about "the game maker" he is still very much alive. I was placed here by Princess Celestia after my escape from the battle dome. So if any of you have any further complaints, speak now or forever hold your peace. And as for him...Ill deal with him latter. Changes to DH. But its been a long day. Timer guard. Change the battle dome to night time. Things are about to get fun.

Shade was still stuck in the orb of magic, the healing spell slowly working. Then, the time turned to night. Shade saw a manticore or two trying to get her, but to no avail. She was able to scrape up enough magic to make a camera linked to DD's monitors. She started a video feed. "Hello Diehard, or DeathDealer maybe. Anyways, as you have noticed, I am being healed by somepony, probably an alicorn, as I cannot get out, nor can anything get in. I'll see you in 3 weeks!" Shade kissed the screen, then cut the feed.

 

Candace was hiding underneath Canterlot, with enough supplies for 3 weeks. She was constantly healing Shade, although she wasn't the sponsor of her. But since GM had stopped and joined in the games, she figured she was fair game. Even if DD was to find her, she would still have a backup healer, hidden away, no bigger than a crumb in a nearby chair. Candace continued the spell.

One of the manticores turned it's attention to Game Maker, and flew down to him at full speed. It tried to grab him, and since he got the candy beaten out of him by Boss, he could do nothing to stop it. It gripped him tightly, it's talons digging into his belly, drawing blood. It dropped him at a high velocity, leaving behind a long, metallic red line. There were several long, deep gashes in GM's body, and many bruises and scratches.

Candace saw that somepony else was getting attacked and was close to death. She turned Shade's backup healer on, and started casting a quicker one on GM. She communicated with him through telepathy. "GM, It's me, Candace. I am not gonna let anypony else die. Even though you were a Gamemaker, you don't have to die. This spell will leave you feel rejuvinated and stronger after it's done in one day. Don't complain, Shade has to heal 3 weeks!"

After Shade's lil vid message DH was trying to find out......Where is that magi coming from? And why would she be in it for three weeks? She would die off from lack of food and water in four days to week. You! scan the dome for any strange activity. And you call the manticores into one group. Its time for them to hunt as a pack. And you send some.....uhhhhh.....glowing parasprites, the ones that dont eat everything. Why are you sending those out? Because giving them flashlights would be to easy. And can someone go tell my sponsors im fine. I know they are looking for me.

 

The general awoke in dark void filled with demons and beast of all sorts. Where the hell am i? Voice in the darkness. Oh look what we have here. Some pony has been banished to my realm. Who are you? Where are you? I am the meaning of darkness. I am the fear that keeps you wake. Im the shadow on the wall. Im the monster they become. Im the nightmare in your skull. Aura starts to take form in front of him. I am Abyss. The true never ending darkness. What are you going to do with me demon? He said showing no fear on his face. But he was scared on the inside.

 

I cant believe DH is the new GM. How could he do this? I demand to see Celestia. I have something to tell her.

Shade was still in suspension. She was sealed off from the outside world, and it was terribly boring. So she created a Ponybox 720 and a TV. She conjured up a 2 way camera this time. "Yo Diehard! Sup! I have a question: How does killing us help us win the games? The goal is to not get killed in these games...." Shade sat back, relaxing in the comfortable ball of energy.

I dont know where you got the tech for this but who ever said i was trying to kill you? If you recall i said I can help my friends to hurt them, or i could hurt my friends to help them. So what do you think im doing? Just sending stuff your way to kill you? No im sending stuff your way to make you survive. That is how you play the game.

"I don't catch your logic... By the way, when you say that, I notice Death Dealer takes over... Is that just Deathdealer talking about hurting to help? How does hurting us help us?" Shade asked, completely confuzzled. "I want you to explain in depth how that you can hurt us to help us. And don't say anything about 'Helping us hurts us'."

Boss for one didn't mind what Die Hard was doing at all. It provided him with some challenge but not enough to kill him. Boss was having fun. He was battling with one of the manticores when he noticed the other ones surrounding him. Okay this doesn't look fun... He swings his sword around and hits one but it gets up and keeps coming. Eventually they over take him and the beat him to the brink of death. They seem to walk away when they thought it was good enough and Boss simply lays there, on death's door. He mumbles. Shade... Shade...

 

(OOC I'm not killing Boss off)

 

Celestia looks down at the Game Maker. Ha! Don't concern yourself with him Die Hard. He is simply asking for his untimely demise. With a flash of her horn he turns into a pile of ash. Let that be an example to all of you. Don't question me as I am not very understanding.

Shade turned around, seeing Boss lying there, almost dead. "NOOO!!! BOSS!!!" Shade pounded on the barrier, trying to get out of the bubble. But the bubble held fast. "BOSS!" Shade began to cry, watching him begin to bleed out. "Please... Boss... Don't die... I love you..." Shade said, finally understanding those feelings.

Well then Shade ill let DH tell you. With me being the new GM i control everything that happens in the dome. Everything from gifts from your sponsors to the landscape changes to whatever beast i send in there is controlled by me. So since Celestia knows about your rebellion i cant help you like we planed. Then she would kill all of us. But by hurting you, not like Boss that was out of my control, it would make the princess happy. Thus she might let you live. So your hardships are the only thing keeping you alive. And Boss is not dead. I get all of you guys vital readings in here too. He is in a world of pain tho. But if you really love him you would fight to save him. All the stuff you need to save him is on the battle field. But with you stuck in that bubble you might not be able to save him. So what are you going to do shade?

Shade thought about this for a moment, then understood. "Ok DH. But I still can't get out of this sphere. It's trapped me in! So, just don't kill the others, kk DH?" Shade at bad, relaxed, and began to doze off.

(OOC: Night everypony. *sigh* I hate my 5:43 wake-up call to get ready...)

Boss slightly lifted his head so he could see. From what he saw out there it looked like Shade was giving up on him. He could feel his heart break at that very moment. She was just going to let him die out here... At that moment he decided just to let himself go. He stopped fighting it. In fact he was beckoning death. If the mare he loved could just give up on him like that then he didn't want to live...

Diehard looks to his other game makers. Whats the report on that magic sphere? I cant find the source sir. But its a very high level of magic. Higher than any unicorn or peacekeeper. This is strange, the only higher ups than them are the Princesses. Well i know its not them they would not tarnish the spirit of the games. Calls Celestia on the com-link. My Lady. There seems to be some "interference" in the battle dome. Some outside magic is being used. I want to know what you want me to do next?

As he waited for a response he looked at Boss's vitals and sees they are slowing down. Oh no you dont. Your not going to die on me. Guard! Send the healing box. This box is like a med ward in a box. Once it lands on Boss it starts to fix him. Then a message starts to play from it.

Im not letting you die because of a broken heart. The only way you will die is if you and i fight to the death. So you better get up and fight. You can just die another day. Now...Get Up And FIGHT!

Celestia smiles.Hehe... I know where the magic is coming from... But it's putting an interesting love twist on the games so I think I will allow it. Leave it for now. If the time comes that I want it to end then I will deal with it myself. Luna! Where are you?

 

Boss could feel himself being healed and heard the message. He didn't know if Die Hard was trying to help him or torture him more... As he gets up after being fully healed he looks towards the bubble again tears swell up in his eyes and looks away. He walks back towards Medley to see if she was all right and sat by her to make sure no dangers could get to her while she was unconscious. He also kept a silent eye out for any sign of Quillusion as well as other beasts of the dome.

As Boss walked out of the med-box, DH calls it back the control room. After hearing what the Princess had to say......Yes my Lady. Call off the scan. The Princess says she will allow it. Looking at the screen and the parasprite lit savannah night. It was calming. It gave DH....Hope that his friends would make it out alive. I know you guys can make it. You can beat this. Just then Hey DH how bout we have some fun? What are you thinking of? Because whatever it is it cant be good. Awwwww...now why you got to make me sound like a bad guy? I say we set loose some of the celestial creatures. We are not going to do that to them. When DH does not meditate for more than a day DD starts to get loose. It is some what like Boss's anger but more controlled and manipulative. Come on you know you want to. And if you dont...ill just take over and do it for you. NO! I will not let you win. DH then sits down and starts to meditate. But his mind is to clouded and corrupt. This is my body now. Beast guard! Send out Celestial being Leo. Yes Sir. And get me the location of Quillusion. I want to keep an eye on that one. Just then the three manticores went back to their holding blocks and a giant panel in the side of the dome opened. Two glowing eyes opened and a giant paw with a star on it stepped out. Let the games begin. DD said with an evil look on his face. In his subconscious DH was still trying to meditate. If he thinks he can take over my body that easily...he's dead wrong. I will beat this and get my body back.

 

Just then a guard walks into Celestia's room. My Princess. The one Twilight Sparkle has requested your audience. She says she has something to say to you.

Shade saw Boss walking away. What he didn't see was her crying, thinking he was dead. But when she turned, seeing Boss still alive, she smiled hugely. But then came shock. Out was coming a giant beast from a giant hole. It was going to attack Boss. "NO! NOOO!" Shade yelled, trying to break out of the bubble. A tear streamed down her cheek. Then, just then, she broke out. A huge explosion rattled the arena from the orb being broken. She flew forward at full speed, realizing the orb got her wings back. She pushed Boss out of the way of the beast, and Shade took the blow. She could feel all of the bones in her body breaking. All she could do was send a blast of magic at the beast, destroying it into a plethora of stars. She was slipping out of consciousness. "Boss... I never gave up on you... This may be my last breath... I love you... Boss..." Shade said quietly, closing her eyes, losing the battle for life.

Quillusion watched the healing sphere, a smile on her face. She had transferred some drops of her potion from her broken canteen to the little vial to feel it up with 10 now. She could still get some off the sides of the canteen to. She took out the knife, a smile on her face. She was now armed and dangerous, and she could still win these games for Celestia.

Boss drops his sword and immediately runs to Shade's side. He lifts her head and begins to cry. He is angry at himself for thinking she abandoned him. He simply lays her down and begins to cry. He whispers. Please Die Hard... Please help her... If you really care about us then fix her... He could feel another of his rages coming on but he pops a pill and calms down. He can't get angry now... His loves life is at stake.

Shade was slipping away. Death and Shade were battling in her subconsciousness. Shade attempted to throw him off the ledge into the abyss below, but he caught her hoof, lifting her up and creating a portal. Through the portal, she saw her dead parent's trying to reach out to her. "No... not yet..." Shade said. She grabbed Death's hand, throwing him off the edge.

 

Shade finally woke up. The first sight she saw was... "Boss? Your ok!" She said, trying to sit up. But she felt all of her bones snap. "AAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHhhh!" Shade yelled in unimaginable pain.

Boss is startled when she awakens. He hears her scream and calms her down. Shh Shade... Don't move. I'd imagine after a hit like that you would have broken nearly every bone in your body... Maybe Die Hard is still in there somewhere... If he so he is sure to help you. Send you some kind of healing box... That was really stupid of you you know. It wouldn't have attacked unless provoked... But I'm grateful. You did it for me... Then he remembers there is still a little bone healer left and pulls out the carton. Here... There is only enough left for one pony... But I want you to have it... He begins to drip drops of the bone healer into her mouth and she is slowly getting better.
