Diehard was shock to see the girls changed into Alicorns. He then focused on what Princess Celestia said. He thought about it. He could use the money for his village, but they were one of the wealthiest villages in the land. It would help but not much. The mansion sound nice. And it would be the perfect thing for him to move into when he stays in Canterlot. The mansion was sounding good. But the pill on the other hoof, was a great idea. He could forget all this non-since. All the death, all the heart break, the death of his other half Death Dealer. He could be normal again. But if he were to forget everything that happened, it would have all happened in vain. The death of DD, Shining Armor, Cadence, and all the others would have been for nothing. He would also forget about the death of Princess Luna.That is something he could not do. As he walked up the Princess Celestia. My Lady i would like the mansion in Canterlot. But there is one more thing i would like to ask for. I would like to take Shining Armor's place as Commander of the Canterlot guard. And i would like to be the EOH personal body guard. It is the least i could do after what DD did. And it is what i should do to bring honor to my tribe. But it is up to you my lady. As he bows to Princess Celestia.

 

The EOH all felt different. They could feel the new power running through them. They all came to the stage....Ill take the stand first girls. AJ then walks up to the podium. She takes her hat off and looks then bows at Luna's coffin. The moon. The sun of the night. I may not know much about Princess Luna. But in the time i have known her she has done nothing but good and brought happiness to all. The first time i met her was after she had been changed from Nightmare Moon back to her normal self. I could see she was going to be a great thing for Equestria. The next time i would see Luna would be Nightmare Night. She came down with a loud booming voice. Heck we were all a lil scared of her at first. But after she played a game or two she opened up and made new friends. She still felt a bit out of place but we helped her fit right in. She was a great Princess. And the night will never be the same with out her. Good by Luna, the true Princess of the Night. AJ bows her head and puts her hat back.

After AJ was done Rarity came up. She did her best to keep her composer. Hello darlings. It is lovely to see all of you here. I have not known Luna that long. But what i do know is she was a great mare. She had a natural beauty and luster about herself. No matter where she went she took the beauty of the night with her. The way her main and tail looked like the night starry sky. Her coat of blue was stunning. It was unlike any blue i have ever had in my shop. And even her other half knew how to dress. But in the end....while i was helping prep her for today....I saw how beautiful she was up close. And i only wish.....I had more time to get to know her. But in her honor I made a dress for Twilight to pay tribute to Princess Luna. It is by far my best work yet. I just hope i made her proud with what i did. So long my night sky. It will never be the same with out you. Rarity bows and takes her seat.

Pinkie Pie took the stand next. But this time she did not hop up there like her normal peppy self. Her main was still strait and long. Princess Luna. Nightmare Moon. The Princess of the Night. These are just a few names she was know as. But i want to call her by something else. Friend. I remember after NMM was taken out of Luna the first thing i did after i stopped crying was threw her a party. I throw all my friends a party. And after being on the moon for a thousand years she could use something to make her feel welcome. Then the next time i would see she was Nightmare Night. *giggle* She was really good at scarring the ponies in town. She thought i was trying to make ponies not like her. But i was just setting the mood for the event. But she knew how to take a joke and made the holiday even better. I can honestly say she was a great friend. And an even better Princess. And from this day forth i will make it Luna cupcake day. *hair goes poofy again* Just like all the snacks here, and how they have something to do with Luna. I will make these on this day every year for the rest of my life. To show how much i love and miss Luna. Good night my Princess of the night. Maybe ill see you next lifetime. Pinkie Pie hopped back to her seat feeling much better now.

Fluttershy walks up to the stand. She has not said anything for a week. She has been silent and had her friends worried about her. But today she was ready. Um...Hello all. Its nice to see all of you here. There....um..there sure are a lot of you that showed up the Luna. Ok....Im done being shy right now. Right now im going to speak my mind. Luna was the Princess there ever was. She may have been NMM at one time, but she was freed from that curse. I had become really great friends with Luna after Nightmare Night. Sure i was scared at first, but after i warmed up to her i knew we would be friends forever. We talk about all the creatures of the land. She knew so much about them and had so much to teach, as well to learn. We taught each other. She even helped me overcome my shyness a bit. But i will say this. Princess Luna was a great friend, and a great teacher. I will miss her much, and the beautiful nights she use to make. Thank you.....Oh um....Ill take my seat now. FS blushed as she went back to he seat.

Up next was Rainbow Dash. She had zoomed down from Cloudsdale to the stage. She had her shades on as she got there. She took a deep breath and took them off. Under her shades were her eyes full of pain. She had been crying the whole time and was hiding it from everyone. As she pulled herself together. What? Have you never seen a pony cry before? So what! I dont care anymore. So many of you see me as The Tuff RD. Well...im not made of stone. I have feelings to ya know. And i dont care about what any of you think about me crying. AJ then goes and puts her hoof on RD's shoulder. She looks her in the eye and nods her head as a tear falls from her eye too. *Sigh* What....guess i meant to saw was....Princess Luna was a great princess. She was so cool and a lot of ponies never knew it. She is the maker of the night sky you guys. The mare of the Moon. She....she was just....just so awesome. And.....i see that now. I knew Luna but i never took the time to get to know Luna like some of the others did. But i bet if she was still here we would have been great friends. *starts to cry again* And now im just upset that i will never get that chance. But i will say this. Luna was one of the best mares i ever knew. And.....I wish i could be more like her......*keeps crying as AJ takes her under her wing*Its ok sugar cube. We all miss her. As Aj walks RD back to her seat everyone was in tears.

It was now Twilight's turn to speak. She walked by the three coffins holding her brother, Cadence, and Luna. As get to the stand she takes a deep breath and readies herself. Thank you all for coming out. It makes me happy to see how many of you care for these fallen ponies. But i shall start with Princess Cadence, or by her full name Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. After princess Celestia took me in as her student she was not always able to keep watch over me, with her running her kingdom and all. So she found me a foal sitter, Cadence. She was like the big sister i never had. We played together, laughed together, and sometimes even cried together. We were the best of friends. Nothing could tare us apart. As we grew older things got a little distance. We did not see each other as much. with me and my studies, and her learning how to run a kingdom we just never found the time. But the day i found out she would be marring my brother i was so happy. Not only would i have my best friend back, but she would now be my sister in law. But now....it seems our time has been cut short. I just wish there was something i could have done to save her. Ha.....i still remember out little dance we made up. Sunshine sunshine, lady bugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake. *a tear falls from her eye* I will miss you Cadence...my B.S.B.F.F. Now i shall move on to my brother. Shining Armor was by far the best solider in all of Equestria. he fought for what was right, and to protect his loved ones. He was a shining example of a perfect colt. Not only did he fight for what was right, but he fought.......... fought for what was in his heart. I watched my brother get killed right in front of me. He died trying to protect me.He died fighting for his littler sister. Making sure nothing happened to me. I will say this the sight of my brothers death will forever haunt me. It is something that will never go away. But it be a permanent reminder of what i never want to she someone go through again.*starts to cry harder* I ask if all of the royal guards would ware a patch with my brothers cute mark on it on their armor today. And as i looked around all of the have it on out of respect for my brother. From the lowest rank to the highest they all have it on in honor of my brother Shining Armor. And for that i thank you all. I dont have a brother any more. But one thing i remember him telling me one time when he saved me from an ursa minor when i was younger. He told me that he would give his own life to protect me. No matter what it was, knowing that i was safe, he could die happy. Knowing that he did his job as a big brother. He was truly the best big brother in the world. He....he was my B.B.B.F.F. And i will miss him. And now....*wiping tears from her eyes* for Princess Luna. The mare of the moon.The princess of the night. She was by far the one of the best princesses i have ever known. She may have been NMM at one point in time but she came back a new mare. I even helped her make new friends when she returned for Nightmare Night. But not only was she my friend...But she was also one of my teachers as well. She taught me so much in the little time she was here. She also showed me the true wounder of the night. It was...breathtaking. That is why i ware this dress that in all ways represents Luna. I asked the have her cute mark put on here to show where Luna will be from now on. Her mark is over my heart and that is where she will always be....In my heart. Along with Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. I have nothing more to say. And with that Luna you will be missed and the nights will never be the same. I will try my best to use what you taught me, but it will never compare to your work. And in closing i now turn things over to Princess Celestia. Thank you for your time. Twilight walks to her seat. The other elements hug and comfort her as she cries. With that Princess Celestia takes the stand.

The moon eclipsed the sun and a bright, blue light came down above the casket. Luna materialized behind it, her beauty radiating more than ever. She nodded toward the mane 6 and turned toward her sister and hugged her. She then walked over to the middle of the garden and her horn started glowing brightly. A squared stone rose up from the ground and a deep blue flame started burning on the top of it. She then walked back over to Celestia and said her goodbye. Her horn shone once again and she returned to the form of a bright light. She flew around the 6, the tributes, and Celestia before returning to the moon.

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Celestia was taken back as the bright blue orb emerged from the heavens and materialized... into Luna. She wanted to yell out to her. To apologize for everything that had happened. To... To make things right. But her mouth would not allow it. Celestia was too stunned to even speak. As Luna's spirit approached, Celestia felt a dryness in her throat. She attempted to speak but it came out as a muffled croak. As Luna said her final good byes to Celestia, large tears swelled in Celestia's eyes and rolled down her bright white cheeks. She wanted to be able to speak... To be able to talk to Luna... to be able to tell her how much she loved her... To... To say sorry... Everything that had happened was Celestia's fault... And now she was paying for it with the life of her sister and eternal imprisonment of the mind... To have to be immortal with the forever torturing thoughts of how... Of how Celestia could have saved her sister... Of how Luna could still be here... If not for Celestia... As Luna reformed back into the sphere of magnificent blue light and began to drift away, Celestia lifter her hoof to her, wanting to call her. To make her come back... But knew she couldn't. As Luna dissipated from any vision, Celestia let herself go. She couldn't hold it in any longer. For these past two agonizing weeks of preparing the funeral, Luna's death had been eating at Celestia, draining all emotional strength she had, and seeing Luna... Decimated every feeble restraint she had left. She collapses onto the stage and begins to sob right in the vision of every living thing attending the funeral. Celestia lay there, centre stage, desperately sobbing. The sound of Celestia sobs sent feels up every pony, dragon, griffin, etc's spines. It was a heart shattering sob filled with genuine despair, anger, regret, and depression. Celestia lay there and forgot about the rest of the world. All she wanted to imagine was Luna. The way she felt... The warmth and love every time they embraced... They way she spoke... With a strict tone yet caring voice... The way she looked... With elegance and grace yet power... And it was all Celestia's fault that she was gone... And then Celestia passed out. Celestia lay there on the stage, unconscious. She was breathing slowly and cold sweat ran from her forehead, merging with the large tears running from her tired eyes.

The Elements of Harmony rush to Celestia's side as she falls to the ground. They all circle around her. Everyone in the crowd stood and flew out of their seats. Princess! Princess Celestia! Oh my goodness what happened? I don't know Shy. She just fell right over. Oh dear somepony do something! Maybe this is all to much for her. Forget that we need to help her! Girls please move aside. *checks for pulse and breathing* Shes still alive. But shes unconscious. We need to get her inside now. To take out of the light of the other breeds. Twi take her to the med ward. Rarity, Dash, AJ go with her. Me Pinkie and Shy will hold things down here. You got it. Lets go girls. *warps the princess and the others to the med ward* Quick the princess needs help!

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

As the Princess collapsed onto the stage, Boss was taken back. He had never seen such emotion being portrayed before. Watching the princess like this seemed to drain all moral from his body, leaving him feeling tired defeated. He noticed Shade must have been feeling the same thing as she had the same reaction. Boss puts on a fake smile and looks at her in an attempt to comfort her. He leans down so that they were eye to eye. "Shade, I want you to go with Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Twilight to help the princess. You could be more help than I. I'll stay here and give assistance to Diehard, Pinkie and Fluttershy. We need to get this place under control. Who knows what the citizens of Equestria must be thinking, Panic and confusion. We need to control the situation. I'll see you soon." He gives Shade a kiss on her cheek and watches as she goes with Celestia and the others. He then turns and looks over the situation. It was chaos. Panicked breeds were shouting and worrying, There was arguing and much, much confusion, He runs up to Diehard's side and taps his shoulder. "Uh... do you have a plan?" Diehard leans in and speaks his plan. Together, with the help of Pinkie and Fluttershy, slowly begin to round of the citizens and bring order back to Equestria.

 

Celestia lay in the medical ward, unconscious from the emotional trauma she had underwent. Panicked doctors and nurses were frantically running around. Performing all sorts of tests, attempting to figure out what had happened the the once lively, glowing princess who was now dull and tired. The elements and Shade watched as test after test was performed with the same useless results time after time. Time seemed to pass as quick as a sonic rainboom and before anyone knew it, it was dawn of the nest day. Only... no sun rose. Twilight had mustered every ounce of her magical ability to lower the sun and raise the moon, however it had left her completely drained. She lay slumped in a corner, eyes locked on Celestia. She hadn't spoken a word since the ordeal. As time continued, the sun did not rise, and Celestia did not awake. As dusk began to overtake the day, Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash sighed and began to trot away from Celestia's bedside. The attempted to get Twilight to move or do something. To get some sleep as she hadn't slept since they arrived at the medical ward 2 days ago. Twilight failed to even acknowledge them, her eyes intently locked on Celestia's body. As the elements realized that Twilight would not budge, they sighed and exited the room, leaving Twilight, Celestia and a few doctors left alone in the room. As soon as the door shut, Twilight lifted her body, stretched her legs, and slowly trotted to Celestia's bedside. Her eyes never leaving Celestia as she does so. As she arrives at her bedside, she looks over the unconscious princess. Celestia's chest slowly rising and lowering at a steady pace. Twilight lifted and placed her hoof on Celestia's chest and began to rub it around. As she did so, she began to sing. She sung softly and soothingly, a loving melody that Celestia used to sing to Twilight when she was just a small foal. For 20 minutes she continued to sing to Celestia, not even sure if it was making any difference. As she finished the very last lyric to the song, she lay down beside Celestia, and snuggled in beside her. She rest her head on Celestia chest, and a tear rolled down Twilight's cheek. As it rolls underneath her chin, it drips off and lands on Celestia chest, as it does so Celestia's eyes snap open.

 

*** 5 YEARS LATER ***

 

Boss slowly lifted one eye as light beamed through the window from the early morning sun. He covered his eyes with his hoof and turned over. He arose from his bed and landed heavily on the floor. He stretched his legs and glanced at Shade, who was still sleeping and he smiled. He then continued out of the bedroom and trotted lazily down the staircase where two fillies could be seen. One staring intently at a television screen and the other playfully ramming to action figures together, He sighs and then smiles as he steps outside onto the street and took a deep breath. Peace.

 

Celestia sat on her throne as she attended to the day court and her royal duties. Pony after pony lined up to speak to her and she kindly greeted them all. Twilight stood faithfully at her side, beaming as she looked around the entire palace. Twilight had become Celestia's personal assistant and royal advisor. A gong rang from behind her throne signalling the end of the morning court. Celestia stood and comfortably stretched as the many ponies began to gather and exit the palace, disappointed they didn't get a chance with the princess. Celestia begins to peacefully trot towards the door and nods her had, motioning Twilight to follow. "Come Twilight. Walk with me." Twilight happily obliged and runs to Celestia's side as they saunter through the royal gardens.

A dark shape rose though the ground near the manor where a family was living. The pony, if it was a pony at al, seemed to be wearing black robes. The robes completely covered her body, which included her head. On her back sat a scythe, but it didn't look like an ordinary scythe. The blade of it was made of some black metal, pure black like the ponies robes. The hilt was made of steel, black leather strips of some sort wrapping around from the blade downward. The pony stood and watched the house for awhile, she knew the family who lived there, even if the family there no longer remembered her, or even knew what she was still. The pony peeked though the window, and if anypony who lived there had felt like looking out, they would see her, watching them. She could see the family, the little ones going about, having fun. The dad of the little ones was coming down the stairs, but Shadow still did not hide, what did she have to hide from anymore. She could disappeared in the blink of an eye if need be, and it wasn't like Death was going to get mad at her for trying to remember some memories of what had happened. She just sat there, watching them, not caring about what might happen.

 

A soul drifted throughout the wastes of the Underworld. The soul had once belonged to a beautiful mare, who had turned insane and tried to kill ponies, resulting in her own death. She had long stopped blaming others for her death, and stopped wallowing around it pity. She now looked for ways out, she had been a smart mare in her time, and knew quite a lot, even if there wasn't extensive knowledge in books about the Underworld, there was some, and Quilluison had read nearly every book there was on it she could think of. She would be that one mare who would cheat death, that one mare who would return to the land of the living, one day that was.

 

Death sat in his castle, watching all that passed by. He waited like he had for five years now, to get some form of contact back from Celestia, but so far, he had yet to talk to her for a long time. He didn't want to contact her, in case she didn't want to talk, but he was running low on options, and was almost ready to contact her himself. After a few more minutes of thinking, he finally decided why not, what was the worst she could do, and using some form of power, spoke to her in her mind. "Celestia, it has been five years. Why do you not try to contact me ever. I thought we had promised to talk at some point, but maybe you just don't want to. If you don't want to, then just don't say anything back, and I will get the message." The words floated from his mind to hers, and he continued to wait.

Twilight fallowed Princess Celestia. So Princess what shall we do today? *looking at a list* Oh......um....Princess. You know what today is.....dont you? Its the five year anniversary of....Well....that. What shall we do my Lady?

 

The other elements were back doing their normal jobs. It was odd for them to use their new bodies in their everyday life.

 

Diehard was out in the palace court yard. He was the new commander of the Canterlot Guard. Over the past five years he had made things much more secure. Men at attention. Her Royal Highness approaches. *the troops and Diehard stand at attention* My Lady. *bowing to her*

Shade woke up, yawning. She noticed that Boss wasn't next to her. As always. She walked out the doors, into the hallway. Once down the stairs, she saw Violet Heart and Slash in the living room. "Good morning, Kiddos!" Shade said with a smile. "What would you like for breakfast?" The immediate response from Slash was "Eggs and Hay Bacon, mom.". Shade rolled her eyes. "Ok, Breakfast will be ready in about 10 minutes. Shade went into the kitchen, and prepared the ingredients. Looking up to the calender, she saw the date... "It's been five years, hasn't it?" Shade said to herself. Turning around, she went to the counter and began to prepare the breakfast.

Celestia smiles at her faithful assistant and smiles cheerily. "I have something very special planned Twilight. All of the tribes and species from all over Equestria have been called here to Canterlot today as a rememberance ceremony. It is to pay honour to those who died that tragic occurance five years ago." She smiles as Die Hard and the other royal guards bow to her. "Die Hard, I want you to head down to Canterlot with a squad of royal guards and double check everything there. Everything must be perfect... and secure for the ceremony this afternoon." She smiles and then hears a raspy voice in her head... one she could recognize well. She acknowledged his request to talk. She spoke to him telepathically. "You know very well why we have not spoken Death. For these past five years I have been mourning... and it pained me to talk to the one entity, who even though is the master of death itself, can not bring my sister back. However I do not hold this against you. Perhaps you can attend the ceremony this afternoon, within the showdows and we can talk more in private." With that she closed communications and went along with Twilight.

 

Boss could hear Shade had awoken within the manor. He took a breath of the chill, early morning air and glance upon the deserted streets, soon to be bustling with the coming ceremony this afternoon. He sighed at the thought of the occasion. Five years... he could hardly believe that only five years ago, he had been on the verge of death, along with Shade and Die Hard. He sighed once again and stepped back inside, reminiscing in the warmth of the manor as apposed to the cold morning air outside. He smiles as he spotted Shade preparing breakfast for the foals. He trotted up behind her and gently nuzzled her cheek, like every morning. Only this morning was different. He leaned in against her ear. "You remember what today is right?"

Diehard bows to Celestia again. Yes my Lady. Shall I gather the other elements as well?

 

That would be nice Diehard. I would like all of my friends to be here. They played a big part in this as well. Would you please gather them as well.

 

Yes Lady Twilight, I will do so now. Gathering five groups of guards in groups of three. Alright men, I want you to get the other EOH from their homes and bring them here. Yes Sir. They all set off to find the other girls. And I want you to ready the palace. And you come with me to make sure the city of Canterlot is ready. They all set off.

 

Going down her list again. Ok Princess, Spike just sent me the list of Royals and Leaders that have already arrived. He has sent them to the Grand Hall till everything starts. Is there anything else you want me to triple check Princess?

Shade felt the familiar nuzzle on her cheek. "Yes... In fact I was just reminicing what those years were like..." Shade said, softly. "The pain, the arena, the evil, the death... It's unbearable. But then... I found all I needed to go on was you and the kids." Shade turned and gave Boss a kiss on the cheek. She then smelled some thing burning. Looking back at the pan, the eggs were almost completely black and crumbly. "Oh buck... I still suck at cooking!" Shade laughed, and started a new pan of eggs.

Back at the museum, where the scythe was stored, a low rumbling began. Soft at first, growing louder as time passed. And finally, a black portal opened up from the tip of the scythe. And then, a pony popped out. She had green hair that looked like it had musical notes, and eyes that seemed like blue whole notes. She had a blue gem between her eyes, right on her forehead. Turning back the pony called into the portal. "Bye Dad! Thanks for letting me visit you in the dark realm!" The mysterious pony said. Then, the portal just closed up. The pony looked around, noticing she had no idea where she was. Looking up the nearby stairs, she saw nothing but a wall. To get out, she was gonna have to get creative...

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Boss smiled at Shade as she leaped at the burning eggs, attempting to put them under control. He glanced into the next room where his children, they hadn't even noticed. He laughed again and watched as Shade put more eggs on after trashing the now blackened old ones. He trotted upstairs and began to prepare for the coming ceremony. He showered, shaved, and put on his finest suit. He walked back downstairs where the foals were enjoying their eggs in the other room. He smiled then joined Shade in the kitchen. "So? How do I look? You should start getting ready too if we are to make it in time. It would kill me to miss it... this means so much to me. To us." He held her hoof and kissed her cheek.

 

Celestia smiles at her apprentice, so eager to assist in any way she can. Celestia shakes her head however. "That won't be necessary Twilight. You've done quite more than your fair share. I think you deserve the rest of the day off. Why don't you head down to the courtyard where the ceremony is to be held. I believe your friends are already there. You've been so busy lately you've barely been able to see them. Well here's your chance." Celestia winks at Twilight and trots off into her private chambers. She closes the door behind her and locks it. When she's sure that she's alone, she removes a box from under her bed and opens it. Inside was a bag of mysterious blue sand, a spell book, and a staff with a moon crescent heading it. She sighs and stares out her window into the sky. "Soon my sister... 5 years of research and preparation... soon..."

Twilight was a bit stunned that the Princess said she could take a break. She came back to reality....

Oh yea my friends should be here by now. I wounder how they have been over the past few years? It's seems like it's been forever since I've seen them. Oh man i can't wait to see them.

Twi trots to the courtyard to meet the others.

In the courtyard Diehard and the other Elements were meeting up. Die and his guard stood guard while the others caught up.

Oh man it feels great to be back in Canterlot.

Over the last five years Dash had become the new leader of the Wounder Blots. She had also started her own school called the Dash Academy for Young Fliers.

I cant believe its been five years.

Yea i know.

With her new found power AJ was able to expand her farm and her produce. The Apple's farm was the most prosperous in all of Equestria.

Gosh dang wings. Im still not use to these things yet. And this dang horn has a mind of its own sometimes.

Oh AJ darling you complain too much.

Rarity had taken her new look to a whole new level. Her dress shop had moved to Canterlot and expanded to some of the other cities.

This new look is a blessing dear. Just embrace it and let nature take its course. I know i have, and i love it.

I cant believe all of you are here!

Pinkie Pie was a hopping around in the air. She was still the party pony she always was. She helped the Cake's expand their franchise to the other cities as well. And she started her own party business as well. Her parties where known from Cloudsdale to the Crystal Kingdom.

Fluttershy was still her normal shy self. Over the past five years she used her power to help the animals she loved. Angle was with her and enjoying his new seat of power.

Shade blushed. "You are completely right, sweetie. I'll get the breakfast ready really quick." Miraculously, the egg came out with only a few brown spots. "That's a first..." Shade mumbled under her breath. She quickly got her best clothes on.

 

The pony had set up something in the depth of the museum. A large contraption that would blow the roof off so she could see where she was. "This SHOULD work..." The pony said to herself. Pressing the red button, the machine buzzed to life... Then quickly fell apart. "Oh buck." The pony said, agitated. She leaned against the wall.

 

"RECOGNIZED HOOFPRINT: DARK ROYAL FAMILY MEMBER MELOETTA: TOP SECURITY CLEARANCE."

 

Meloetta jumped at the sudden robotic voice. Then, a wall panel slowly and quietly opened up at the top of the stairs. She slowly stepped up the stairs...

Boss smiles as Shade walks upstairs to prepare. It had been months since he and her had seen the others from their... experience. Twilight was now Celestia's apprentice, Die Hard had the entire guard to look after, and the other mane 5 gad their own important jobs. It would be nice to see them all again, even if the memories associated with them were not necessarily good ones. He turned his head as Shade walked back into the kitchen and his jaw nearly dropped. Shade looked stunning. He smiles at her as the doorbell rang and the fillysitter walked in, looking over their children for them while Shade and Boss were gone. Boss thanks him and Boss and Shade begin towards the palace courtyard.

 

Celestia sighs and closes the box. As small tear rolls down her cheek and she looks once again at the sky. It was nearly mid day and therefore the ceremony would be starting very shortly. She conceals the box under her bed once again and trots out of her room, locking the door behind her. She was wearing the most regal of dresses, designed by the world renowned Rarity. Each symbol and color perfectly contrasting each other and bringing out Celestia's royal appearance. She appears in the courtyard before thousands or bodies of all races. All had come to pay their respect to her sister, to the princess of the night. Celestia smiles as she can see Boss and Shade taking their seats in the reserved section in the front. With a great thrust she lifts her wings high, silencing the crowd. She smiles to them all and with a warm voice she speaks. Welcome all. I thank you all for coming. This is a momentous occasion for all of Equestria. I believe we all remember what happened those 5 fateful years ago... Celestia winces. The memory was still fresh in her mind like an open wound. She continues to speak for hours and the crowd listened intently and respectfully. Eventually she paused and looked around the crowd. And now, I`d like to call upon a few special, important ponies. Would Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Boss, Shade, and Die Hard please join me on the stage?

Shadow Stalker appeared behing the huge crowd, but still a good spot as she could see the stage. She didn't know why she had come to this ceremony of sorts, only that she had come and felt like she needed to. Out of the corner of her eye she saw another shape rise from the ground. The pony was in the shadows, also watching the ceremony, and she instantly knew who it was. Death had come for some reason.

 

Death rose from the ground, hidden in the shadows, in a place only Celestia would be able to see him. He knew better to draw attention to himself. He watched as Celestia began, and waited. He would have is time to talk to her sometime after the show.

All of them came from their seats with their families and friends. Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash flew and took their place on stage behind Princess Celestia. Diehard left his post and stood next to the girls.
