As Medley felt a surge of pain go through her, she dropped from the sky, with Shade. Luckily, she wasn't too far off the ground. As they hit the ground, Medley felt an excruciating pain in her left wing, enough to make her cry. When she looked at it, it was all broken and mangled.

She quickly patched up both her and Medley's wounds. "Boss, I think I know how to bust out of here! There should be a button somewhere in your Exosuit! It activates a super laser! I was able to get out of the rockslide cave-in with it! But I need time to re-charge mine! You'll have to cover me!" Shade said, beginning to work on the suit.

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Celestia was enjoying the show. This year has been an exciting one by far. Luna where are you? Are you enjoying the show? Send them something... powerful. They may need it with what they will encounter next. She hits a button. A huge EMP ripples through the arena, disabling all electrically powered devices, rendering the exo suits useless. Now things get interesting...

 

Boss hits the ground with a thud after the lightning. He gets up. Got it. He quickly finds the button and attempts to use it but it doesn't work. In fact nothing in his suit was working any more. It was now just a piece of metal weighing him down. Shade! The suits are useless! Ditch it or it will just slow you down! You too Die Hard!

Medley mumbled a thank you once Shade had finished bandaging her wing. She gave it an experimental flap. It hurt like hell. She sighed.

"What kind of sick pony would come up with the idea of these games?" She asked annoyed.

She stood up and paced around. She was used to flying. Having a broken wing will be hard on her.

Shade felt her exosuit deactivate. "SHIT! CELESTIA SET OFF AN EM-" Shade stopped talking for a minute. "Wait, an EMP? That disables all electronics... THE FORCEFIELDS!" She yelled, throwing off her suit. "Guys! The forcefield would be disabled by the EMP! This is our chance!" She ran off to the edge of the arena, next to the forcefield.

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Celestia smiles. She broadcasts her voice over the coms. No no no my little tributes. The forcefield is powered by magic, not electricity. She then laughs and the coms go silent.

 

Boss stagger around. Ugh... I think I sprained my ankle from that lightning strike. Just then he gets tackled by a xenomorph. It is face to face with him and he can see his life flashing before his eyes. Another one and another one piles on top of him. More memories keep piling in and he sheds a tear. He closes his eyes and whispers. I love you dad... He then gives in.

 

(OOC: I'm not killing off Boss. I expect some pony to save him)

After Celestia's voice booms, she runs back to the mountain. Boss was covered in those xenomorphs. "No! Boss!" She yelled. Boss had saved her many times turning the games. It was time to return the favor. She kicked off the xenomorphs, drawing their attention. "Boss, run!" Shade yelled, kicking at the monsters. Then, a random strong wave of the xenomorphs knocked her over. She felt bite after bite of multiple mouths. She began to feel numb. "Help... Gamemaker... you know you care... you know you don't want this to happen... you only do this because Celestia would kill you if you didn't... This is way too chaotic for ponykind." She said, slipping away.

 

(OOC: Not killing off, we need GM on our side.)

Luna runs up next to her sister. "The 'show' has been... okay up to this point. We don't really know what to send Medley right now. She seems to need something right now, but we cannot put our hoof on it. What do you think, sister? We want to make the games more interesting."

Something snaps inside of Medley. She is tired of Celestia. She is tired of these games. She is tired of being weak.

She hates the games. She wants herself and the other tributes to go home.

"Get the buck... AWAY FROM... MY... FRIENDS!" She shouts and headbutts a nearby Xenomorph, knocking it to the ground.

Shade was almost at the light. It kept coming closer and closer to her, but when it caught up to her, it didn't suck her in. It enveloped her in a strange, refreshing light. She felt something beginning to form on her forehead and sides. Back in reality, Shade blasted off the Xenomorphs with a green bolt of magic. She stood up, slowly. Her forehead hurt horribly. As she reached up to hold her forehead, her hand was jabbed by...

 

"A HORN?" Shade shouts. She looked to her side, and saw a PAIR OF WINGS. This was unbelievable! She had always been an earth pony! Her mother and father had both been Earth Ponies!... Then it hit her. Ezio had given her a horn and wings from heaven. To stop Celestia. To end these games forever. She flew up into the air, and began to counter the forcefield with a powerful spell, rivaling even the Elements of Harmonys' powers. She felt the forcefield begin to weaken.

Medley, after clearing the area around her, watched Shade in awe, her eyes wide, her mouth wide open. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

But... How? Medley thought She was an Earth Pony then...

Medley could think of no logical explanation for it. She just watched, amazed.

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Celestia thinks. Hmm. Send them a carton of bone healer. They drink it and it heals their bones entirely. It should keep the games alive a little longer and Medley needs that wing fixed. Then she feels her magic being challenged from within the arena. Ahahaha. Enough. You will compete in my games Shade. Nothing you can do will stop it. She she then uses her horn to harvest all of the energy from the forcefield and send it back at Shade, overloading her horn. The blast of magic sends Shade flying back right into the mountain, busting through a cave. She is alive but severely injured. Celestia the restores the forcefield.

 

Boss opens one eye. ... Am I still alive? He then sees Medley headbut a xenomorph and stares. Holy shit... That was badass. You got this Medley? He then sees what happened and rushes over to help Shade. He puts her on his back and takes her deeper into the cave, away from danger. He sets her down in a soft bed of moss. Rest here. I'll defend the entrance if anything trys to come at you.

Shade was in extreme pain. Even breathing felt like she was on fire. "AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Shade yelled. Her horn was still intact, amazingly. She began to cast a healing spell. She slowly began to get more energy. She looked behind her, and screamed. She blasted the giant xenomorph behind them. It literally exploded! She made a forcefield to stop the blood from hitting her. "You alright over there Boss?" Shade yelled.

"Shade!"

Medley ran towards where she thought Shade had landed.

"Shade! Oh my, that was amazing! But... Are you okay?" Medley asked, concerned. She knew that the force field used some of its energy against Shade, and she knew that Shade was in a great deal of pain.

"Do you need any help to your hooves?" Medley asked.

"No..." Shade said. "But I do need help taking down that forcefield. Just me attacking, I was almost able to take it down. With more help, it should come down. But Boss doesn't have a horn, and the other pony just watching isn't here." Shade blasted another xenomorph. "Any ideas?"

Princess Luna sent the carton of bone healer at her sister's suggestion. Soon a silver parachute with a small container fell near Medley and Shade. She included a letter that said, "Please don't fight her right now. We want you to win, but we can only do so much."

The package landed next to her. She read the note, then looked into a nearby camera. "Oh Luna, my dear. You know we have to. We cannot allow innocent ponies to be killed for your sister's sick entertainment. The games are ending this year. Forever." She ripped out the camera, then casted a magical blast that disabled all cameras. All TV screens in Equestria went blank, along with the Gamemaker's control panels.

Medley was amazed.

"I have an idea. Pretend you've killed the rest of us, we hide somewhere, you are the 'victor', infiltrate the palace, tie up Celestia and force her to stop the games!"

Medley realized how stupid she just sounded.

"Eh, forget what I just said. I have no ideas."

Medley applied some of the bone healer to her broken wing and it was fixed! Medley took off into the air, and flew around happily.

"THANK YOU LUNAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" She yelled.

Shade yelled for the ponies to get inside a cave. After everypony was inside, Shade put up a strong magical barrier. "This should protect us for a while guys. We should begin thinking of what to do about this. What are we going to do to get out of here? Shade sat down, thinking. (OOC: Going offline for a bit)

Quillluison was running though the plains. She was being chased by the monsters, and had no idea where to go. She had long since ditched her suit, but they were still gaining on her. "Help me please." She yelled out, doubting anyone would hear her, and they would most likely kill her on sight.

"Well," Medley said. "I vote that we save the other tribute. I can hear her screaming."

Medley tried to go through the magical barrier, but she couldn't break through. She backed up, then charged at it at her full speed, then she got bounced back by the barrier.

"Oof." She said when she hit the ground. She brushed herself down.

"I wont try that again. Shade, can you take the barrier down for a second, please?"

(OOC Im back! Time for Diehard to go Deathdealer mode)

 

Diehard was fighting off as many of these monsters as he could. He was trying to help his friends as well but he could only do so much. He would buck one here, cut one there, watch out for tails and the little mouths. In thought. There's just to many of them. We cant kill them all. My brothers he my plea. Give me your strength and become one with me. Just then his coat went from drown to black. His mane and tail drifted off as well. And his eyes went form drown to red. Yes my brothers......i can feel your power. Let it run through me and aid me in my time of need. Just then three xenomorphs jumped on him. It looked like the end. But just then all three fell to pieces around. He had unlocked the true fighter within him like his master always talked about. This power feels great. I can truly fight now. My blood lust is out of this world! As he starts to kill more of the monsters. He yells to the sky. YOU GENERALS HAVE SEEN NOTHING YET!!

 

Twilight still looks at Celestia waiting for an answer. Knowing that Celestia is paying her no mind she walks in front of her and gets in her face. Princess Celestia of the Sun why are you doing this? This is not a game any more. These ponies have families that care for them. This is just madness. And you know what Celestia... Looking her dead in the eye...If this is how things are going to be run. Then i dont want any part of it anymore. And do not want to be your student anymore either. Tossing her EOH crown at Celestia's hooves. Im done serving under a tyrant like you.

 

The generals look in shock and aw at what Diehard just did. This pony here is really something else. Iv never seen anything like that happen before, not even in the lab. Its like he pulled out some kind of inner strength. This is great! I still hate the fact that his suite does not work anymore. Will we still be able to send him "the gun" without the suite? Maybe. Lets just let the EMP effect ware off first, then we'll send it to him. They go back to looking at the screen.

Shade lowered the energy barrier, letting Medley outside. And Shade couldn't believe her eyes. Diehard had changed, He now had a black coat, and he looked absolutely badass. "Woah, Diehard! You look absolutely epic! We are gonna own Celestia's flank!" Shade said.

Diehard looked at Shade as he had a xenomorph pined by its neck. My name is Deathdealer! Using the xenomorphs tail to stab it in the head. And this is my true power! I feel so alive! These things are more powerful then the one i fought to earn my way into my tribe. But a monster is still monster no matter how you kill it! Running back up the mountain.

Once the magical barrier was lowered, Medley flew out of the cave and towards where she heard Quillusion(?) screaming. Once she saw her, she flew down and headbutted the one that was closest to Quillusion.

"I'm guessing you need help, huh?" Medley asked, as she attacked the mutts.
