Quillusion finished off the changelings then noticed something was leaking in. "Is that.. Poison?" Quillusion said, looking at it. "It is!" She screamed as she started to climb a tree. She had no idea how she would survive now, but she had plans to, there was no way she was going to die now.

Darklash was getting pissed off. He dropped in, put chlorofoam to DH's mouth, knocked out the guards, and took over the controls. "Ok... Hmm... Lets get rid of all the trees, send in some giant fire snakes, and... AHA! How about some... well... lightning!" Darklash began to push buttons. "This is actually fun!"

DH wakes up in a daze an hour latter and sees hes on the floor. Ahhh...what the hell man.....Seeing some other pony in his seat he walk up behind them and puts a blade to both sides of their neck. I dont know who you are or who sent you here but i will tell you this. You have bucked with the wrong one. Just as he was about to cut their head off he looks the the screens he sees things are getting better. Well well my friend. It seems you have a few tricks of your own as well. How bout me and you run this game how it should be done. Takes blades from neck. So what do you say...Partner....Offers hoof

"You know it, Diehard." Darklash said, shaking his hoof. "By the way, I am Celestia's head assassin, Darklash. I take it that Death Dealer in down in the arena?" He looked over at the monitor. "I take it DD was the one helping the others out... good thing he is down there now..." Darklash began to laugh evilly.

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Boss stared as the fire snakes approached. He wasn't too worried though because he had his tree. Merely seconds after he thinks this his tree drops to the ground. What the buck? Dammit! He draws his sword as the snakes approach. He jumps back and cuts one in half and then swings around and kills another one. He cuts another one into three but then one gets through and bites his leg and he realises why they are called fire snakes. Ahhhhh! That bucking burns! Buck this... He sheaths his sword then tries running away but falls because his leg is in so much pain. He draws his sword again and tries to fend them off.

DD was still at the volcano when all hell started to break loose. What the hell is he doing up there? And whats that smell? Seeing a purple gas enter the dome along with changelings. This is not going to end well.

 

Back in the game room.....Hey Grimdark watch this. Changeling take form of DH. Find Boss. Wound Boss. A changeling near boss took shape and came up behind him. Boss.....help me......the princess found out what i was trying to do. She put someone else in my place. And have you seen my other half? He got away from me after we broke apart. Boss....help.Falls to the ground.

And now for shade. Changeling take form of DH. Find Shade. Break shade. Changeling finds Shade. Oh thank god i found you Shade. Celestia found out my true plan and put me back in here. Have you seen Boss? And you know i saw that whole love thing you two got going on.

And let the seeds of deceit be planted.

 

Twi had to think of something quick. My Lady im sorry i acted out earlier. I was out of line. But i see that now. I....i think...i dont care for them any more. I mean...im not in the battle dome, im not down there fighting, my family is not in there so why should i care? I see what you mean now.

Shade saw Diehard walk up to her, saying that Celestia found out his true plan. But something seemed fishy about this whole thing. She needed to check if it was a changeling. She removed all happiness or love that she would feel from Diehard, hence changelings could only take the form of somepony you trust or love. At that moment, it changed back to it's default form. Shade easily chopped its head off.

 

"It's Darklash, by the way, not grimdark. Though I do like grimdark stories..." He looked over at the monitor to see Shade chop the changeling's head off. "Oh sister, still skilled as ever, I see. Well, for doing such a good job, I'll send you the ultimate arrow." Darklash took of the protecting glass cover to the ultimate arrow button. he pressed it.

 

(OOC: The ulti-arrow has the force of a 16 megaton nuclear explosion, along with spreading poison, cold, and darkness throughout a 15 mile radius)

Boss talks to "Die Hard" but keeps his focus on the approaching fire snakes. As he cuts another two in half he speaks. W-what do you mean? Do you mean Deathdealer sent you here? Than who was that Deathdealer I saw earlier drop down from the pod? His focus is still fighting the snakes but he listens.

 

Celestia laughs. And do you really think so? Is this what is in your heart? Then we shall see what is the truth and what isn't. Prepare yourself. She leans down her horn to Twilight's head and it flashes. Celestia is now looking into Twilight's very mind. (OOC: Razorwing I'll leave it up to you to post what's in there)

The ultimate arrow descended from the sky. A sudden gust of wind blew the arrow off course, into the mist. The beast was still gaining power. When the arrow touched down, it swiped the arrow up, absorbing it's power. The beast was almost ready to be unleashed.

 

Darklash was confused. "What is that thing? It literally drained the power out of the arrow!"

Twi cringes as Tia peers into her mind. In her mind there is a white void with nothing but bookshelves on the walls. Then Twilight walks out of a giant book. Hello princess and welcome to my mind. So what is it that you would like to see? My study notes, research, quotes, or my letters on........FRienDShiP......Or some of the other things i have here. So what shall it be? Tia looked under H for the hunger games. Oh i have a lot on the topic. Lets see there's history, founding, death tole, game room, districts list, tributes list, weapon rules, beast, ect. Or do you want this one, "my thoughts on the hunger games" Tia takes it and opens it. As she looks through the pages she sees that Twi never wanted the games or to be in them. She was going to do whatever it took to stop them by trying to convince her teacher. But when that failed she found out that there is no point in saveing them when she cant even save herself. And who's to say that her tribute cares about her? So whats the point of caring? Like what you see Princess?

 

DH was ticked that Shade kept killing his beast. Im going to get you. Changeling turn into Boss. Find Shade. Break her heart. It finds Shade. Shade i found you! Im so glade your ok.

Shade turned to see Boss coming up behind her. "Boss? I thought you were on the other side of the arena... Ah well! Did you know that there are changelings around here? You have to be careful..." Shade walked over, giving him a kiss on the cheek. Shade looked up. 'Bring it on, DH. I know.' Shade thought.

The changeling by boss....Boss Tia us both down here. She said she wants the DD back up there. So we need to get rid of him before she finds him. Cause if she does she wins and we all die.

Changeling by Shade.....i found my way over here. I just watched where your platform stopped. But like i said im just happy your safe now we cant get out of here.....together

Celestia puts the folder away and nods. Very well Twilight. I am indeed happy with what I see. With a flash of her horn she is brought back to reality and is once again in front of Twilight's cell. I have seen your mind Twilight and I am impressed... and happy that you decided to listen to logic. Celestia unlocks her cell. Now follow me. They walk upstairs. Luna! Come here! It is time the three of us have a meeting about the games and what we can do to make them more... exciting.

 

Boss nods at "Die Hard" and finishes off the snakes. Unfortunately he didn't have any of the healer left to heal his leg. He gave the last of it to Shade. Than we should go now. Boss and "Die Hard" run until the see dd and intercept him. We know what you're up to Deathdealer! Prepare to die! Boss draws his sword and prepared to fight.

 

It is ready. After all of this time, extracting power from the dark emotions of the tributes. Their sorrow was his fuel, their anger was his power. And now he had had enough waiting. Slowly it arose from the shadows and two glowing red eyes peered out from the mist. It lifted it's nose and literally smelled the fear of the tributes. He began to move at a speed much beyond Rainbow Dash. He followed the smell of the fear until he was right behind a pony. The pony was Quillusion.

Luna! Come here! It is time the three of us have a meeting about the games and what we can do to make them more... exciting.

 

Luna heard Celestia's call and walked downstairs. Yes sister. Also, we think we have figured out who is responsible for Cadence's murder. We have reason to believe that the murderer is none other than your assassin, Darklash. He is in the game making room.

Darklash dropped from the ceiling. "You rang, Luna?" He turned to Celestia, giving a knight's bow. "My princess, the reason I had to remove Cadence was because she was double crossing us... She was secretly helping the tributes to escape."

 

Shade and "Boss" walked around. Nothing much was happening, except for the occasional fire snake she had to kill. "I can't wait until we get out of here, Boss. It's gonna be so good..." She turned, looking serious. "I... I want kids when we get out of here... They'll be the kindest souls ever..."

Quillusion could swear she could here something coming up behind her. She turned around, and noticed eyes watching her. That was when she screamed, jumped from the tree, and ran. She had hurt her legs from the fall, but she had no time to think on that, she had to run, or this monstrous beast would destroy her and kill her. "Help me!" She yelled out across the arena, not caring who might here it.

Shade heard a "Help me!" from the distance. It was obvious it was Quills. She hesitated, then ran to the source of the noise. Something was chasing her. Jumping between her and the beast, she wrestled it to the ground. She was just about to slice the monster's neck open...

 

Back in the gameroom, Darklash saw that Shade was about to kill the dark beast. "Oh hell no!" He said, pushing a button to disintegrate her weapon.

 

Shade's knife literally faded away in her hand. The monster flipped her over, about to kill her. "SHIT!"

Celestia looks down to Darklash. Perhaps you could have considered asking me first... Did you ever stop and think that perhaps I wanted her alive? I never gave you any orders and if I had wanted her dead, she would've been dead. You know that. Luna please escort Darklash to prison. He will serve a week in there for disobeying orders.

 

The beast tore through the forest after Quillusion. While she was dodging through trees, he was simply going through them, tearing them down. As she cried for help he could feel the fear coming off of her and he thrived off of it. He took her fear and made himself more powerful with it. This boost of power made him speed up and he got a good hit at Quillusion, launching her into a tree. You will die mortal! The more you fear me, the stronger I grow! Just then he felt Shade. He swipes her and launcher into another tree. Ahahaha! I can feel the fear emitting from you! The doubt in your conscience! Give me more! Die! You will both die!

"Shade!" Quillusion yelled, stopping in her tracks. She could let the beast finish her off right now, or she could save her. Oh what to do, what to do. She started to repeat to herself multiple times, before pulling out the knife and running in to save Shade. She stabbed it, wondering if her fire knife would even hurt it.

Only one week? That seems rather... lenient of you, sister. No matter though. We shall bring him. Luna escorts Darklash to his prison cell with several guards. You should have thought before you acted. After they locked him in, Luna headed back down to see her sister and Twilight

Darklash was pissed. She had stopped somepony from freeing the tributes, and he was punished??? He didn't get it. His head began to hurt, and a dark mist came out from him, laughing evilly. His head cleared of all evil.

"Ugh... what happened?" Lightlash said. Looking around, he saw a mist going through an air vent above. Bent on getting revenge, Lightlash jumped into the air ducts.

[Lightning Fluttershy 1,844]

Celestia looked at Luna as she came back from the prison. As she joined herself and Twilight Celestia smiled. Then it is set. There are no more hold backs and nothing to get in our way. My pet is terrorizing the tributes and they shouldn't last much longer... Luna I am leaving now. There are important matters I must attend to therefore I am hereby placing you under control of these games. Twilight will be your assistant. Do not fail me. With that she walks into her room and the door closes behind her.

 

The beast felt a slight sting, as if a mosquito bite. He looks around and sees Quillusion. He roars in her face and feeds of the fear he gets back. He grabs Quillusion and picks her up. He then launcher her into the tree Shade is under and walks towards them, tasking every bit of fear he can get out of them. He picks up Quillusion again and his massive claws are inches away from her neck.

 

(OOC: Gotta go for a while. Got stuff irl to take care of but I'll be on later)

Shade was terrified. But then, she noticed something. The beast only got powerful if you got scared or angry! "Quills! Pretend that the beast is something that you aren't afraid of and makes you happy! It feeds off of fear and anger!" Shade closed her eyes, imagining that the beast was Derpy. She began to laugh uncontrollably. She noticed that it was getting weaker.

 

Lightlash watched Celestia leave, then snuck into the room unseen. He decided to spy on Luna and Twilight for a while.

"I don't know if I can Shade." Quillsuion said. She tried to as hard as she could. "Shade this is hard." She started to concentrate on it, closing her eyes. She then thought of it as a giant book, laughing. She stopped yelling, and her fears were gone for then. but if she opened her eyes, she knew she would see he beast, and that was starting to scare her again.

"Quillusion, focus!" Think that if you can do this, then Celestia will be overthrown! Think that everypody will be happy again! YOU NEED TO FOCUS!" Shade began to laugh again. the derpy-beast she was imagining was now eating muffins that defied the laws of gravity! The monster shrieked in pain.
