Equestrian Hunger Games

Discord looks to Death Dealer. Kill them all. With that he teleports Death Dealer to the room with Twilight. He then looks behind him and smiles. Ahh! If I knew we were having company I would've cleaned up the place! Look at all that blood it's such a mess... So how are you all? Lives are okay I hope? They seem taken back by his casual talk.

 

Boss looks at Quillusion and smiles. Do not underestimated me Quillusion. I am just as deadly unarmed as I am with a weapon. Now let's do this. Please keep your weapon. It's only fair. He smiles again than charges at Quillusion, breaking through her dagger thrust and tackling her to the ground.

"Discord, your reign of terror is over." Shade readied herself, about to strike.

Darkflash took over. "Discord, I would love if you would donate some of your amazing power to me. There can be only one crazed chaotic overlord here." He began to charge up a dark blast.

"These games are to be ended forever. This is the last time somepony will be killed because of these games." Lightlash readied multiple knifes, all coated in poison.

"I refuse to fight with weapon." She said, throwing the dagger to the side. "However if you wish to fight, I will." She attempted to push him off of her, even though she was really weak and managed to slide away from him, where she stood up and waited for him to do something.

Luna was nervous, but ran over to her sister to try to comfort her and get her out of there. When she tried picking Celestia up, she was stif although she was not as much as earlier. With that said, she was still having trouble getting her out. She was making progress, but it was somewhat slow.

As DD was sent to the generals room he looks at them. Well hello men. DH? Is that you? What are you doing? Im here to kill Twilight Sparkle. My master commands it. Your master? You mean you did this to her? Well she did not do it to herself now did she? Oh and im not DH. That weak wretch is the new GM. Im DD his more evil self. Charging at the generals they block his path and try to stop him. Get Lady Twilight out of here. Alert the whole Palace. Discord is back. As they warp Twi out of the room.....No! I must complete my mission. Knocking the generals off of him. Now you will see how good of a fighter i really am.

 

DH was keeping an eye on Boss and Quillusion as they fought. Lets even out the playing field a bit. Pressing a number of buttons to change the battle dome. The trees were flattened, the land rose and the sky turned grey. Now tell the games begin.

With a sweep of Discord's hand he launches them into the wall. I have grown more powerful since the last time I walked Equestria... And I am truly hurt at you ignoring my question. I'm simply sitting here, trying to make conversation, and you ruffians just run at me! What has happened to manners since I've been gone? Fine. For being so rude to me... He uses his magic to pick Celestia and Luna up off the ground and levitates them above his head. Now this is a neat little spell. If something breaks my concentration for even a second the ball they are surrounded in will close and be sent to a distant dimension known as hell. Now would you like that to happen Luna?

 

Boss watches as the land changes around himself. That was awfully stupid of you to ditch the dagger. It was probably the only advantage you had. But I agree in hand to hand combat. Unfortunately for you that does not bring good news. He then swings his hoof at her face, barely missing when she dodges. Come on! He then launches at her again.

Quillusion jumps back again. "We don't have to fight." She said, swinging her leg at his to knock him off balance but missing. "We could work together, me and you, stop Celestia." She said, moving out of the way again. She then attempts to hit him in the head with her hoof, but stops and swings her other at his legs.

Shade quickly pulls out the royal sisters from the bubble, and Lightlash quickly attached a sticky grenade to Discord arm. BOOM! Discord flew back towards the wall, but stood up without any pain. "Damn! How did he get so powerful?" Shade ran at him preforming a sweeping leg kick.

Discord is slightly annoyed. Why didn't the royal sisters get sent to hell? His concentration had been broke which should have led to that... But he doesn't have time to ponder this. It's water under the bridge now. Hmm... Although my spell failed I am in no state of anxiety... However I am once again hurt. Why do you continue to ignore my question? I simply want to talk but you ponies all seem to be the same. Fighting all the time. I only want to chat. Discord levitates and sits down in the air. So once again. How are you all?

 

Boss takes the hoof to the lags but it simply staggers him. He may not be fast, flexible, or agile but he is sturdy and strong. He looks at her and scowls. Oww... That almost hurt. Unfortunately for you you should have kept that blade. Your strikes are less than stellar. With that he steps back and launches his hoof at her again. He says that he will overpower her but with her speed and agility and his strength and defence they were almost matched.

Realizing that Discord was toying with her, she conjured up a chair. "Well, how do you think it's going? I was in the game where innocent ponies are forced to kill each other. Hopefully that won't happen again."

Shade changed to Darkflash. "Well, for me, I was released into the arena, almost became immortal with DD, and was killed by Shade saying she loved me. All in all, everything is fine. This is a nice host."

"Never thought you would ask, Discord. I just reunited with my older sister, escaped from the moon, and changed from evil to good. Pretty damn good day."

She manages to move out of the way, but it does hit her, barely, but still enough to cause her some pain. "Please, why can we not just talk, why do we have to fight?" She asked, continuing to move around, knowing if she stood still he would easily get her. "Can we please just talk?"

Luna knew that she was not powerful enough to go up against Discord. She took advantage of the opportunity Shade was giving her and carried her sister out of the room. She tried her best not to draw any unwanted attention to herself on her way out.

Discord laughs. A warm yet demonic laugh. Good to hear it. And come on don't be so hard on me! When did a little chaos ever hurt anyone? He then "stands up" from his floating sitting position however he is still floating. He flies around them and ruffles each of their manes. Oh it's been so lonely with only Celestia to keep me company... You could say I've gone insane! If I wasn't all ready that is. He then opens a portal beneath the them, leading to the dome. As they fall through and fall into the dome, he closes the top the dome, sealing them in. He smiles and teleports to the room where Death Dealer is. Hmm. Why are the still alive Death Dealer?

 

Discord didn't seem to notice as Luna escapes with her sister. As Luna carried her, Celestia suddenly wasn't stiff any more. She went limp and fell off of Luna's back. Although it didn't look like she had been doing much, in reality she had been fighting a battle of wills within her very mind. Discord's will against her's. The reason she went limp is because her will had finally triumphed. She slightly opens her eyes and sees Luna above her. L... Luna? Where am I? What happened to Discord?

 

Boss looks at Quillusion again and thinks about her question. He considers it then gives her an answer. Well... I don't know... It's tradition to have a winner of the Hunger Games, even if the reasons are as such. I will not leave this dome until we declare a winner to the games. Do you have a better idea than fighting to get a winner?

Shade felt a pain her back. Standing up, she saw her brother beneath her. "Omigosh! I'm so sorry Lightlash!"

"Urmphh... I'm ok... I'm just bruised." He looked up to thew dome. "Well fuck. Now he kicked us all out. But he was kind of kind, and not murderous."

"You know what? I don't want his fucking power anymore! I just want him DEAD! Looks like I'm sticking with you for a while, Shade!"

"If we're back here, we should go see Boss." They all ran off toward's Boss's direction.

DD looked at Discord as he called his name. What are you talking about master? Cutting both generals heads off with a change of weapon. They have taken TS to another location. All i can think is that they will try to find the other elements. And all i know is that they might be down in ponyvill. Unless they were dumb enough to come here to her. Ill keep looking my Lord.

 

The general dropped Twi off at the Army med-ward. Take good care of her. She is wounded very badly. Twi looks at the general. Gen...re.al.....find.....the.....others.......Find.....the other.....EOH.......they are the .......only way....to stop........Discord......Twi blacks out again. Ill do my best Lady Twilight. Warps out of the room to find the others.

 

DH saw Shade and friends drop into the dome. Where the buck did they come from? Well no matter. I guess the games must go on. But i dont want them to interfere with Boss's fight. Puts up a magic over where they are fighting. At least this way they cant get in. Ill just let them walk around for now.

Shade could finally see Boss, and he was fighting with Quills! She ran towards him, calling his name. "Boss! Boss!" All of a sudden, a giant wall of magic surrounded Boss and Quills.

"Well, shit." Darkflash said, in control of the body again. "Looks like DH doesn't want us to intervene."

Lightlash started up at the dome, then over to a camera. Looking at his hoof, he saw he still had his communicator on him. "Diehard, come in Diehard, do you copy? Discord is on the loose in the castle, you need to be careful."

DH goes to his com-link. I dont want you guys to mess with their fight. They want to do this with honor. And where have you been? Luna took you and now your back and look like crap. And what do you mean i need to watch my back?

 

The general had made his way to ponyvill and found the other elements. Ladies come quick. Twilight needs your help.

"We are not sure, but we know that you have kept a secret from us. Why did you do that? Did you not feel that you could trust us?" Luna felt dejected and hurt thinking that her sister could not trust her to tell a secret such as this. "You should know that you can tell us anything."

"Diehard, listen to me. Celestia is not the true villain. Discord possessed her, but he left her body. He is trying to kill the others. It may be safe to get out of there." Lightlash looked in the direction of Canterlot. 'What are you playing at, Discord?' Lightlash thought.

"I...I... I don't know, but if we fight, that means either me or you will die, and I am almost positive it will be me." She said. She starts to back away from him. "Please just let us not fight. Wait, why do these games even need a winner, no one else is fighting, what happened to all the others?" She asked him.

Shade was running to the magic barrier, knocking on it, trying to get Boss's attention. "Hey Boss! Discord, he is trying to take over Canterlot! What are you doing?"

Changing into Darkflash, he tried to pound down the barrier. "Damn! I can't get through... Fuck!" He kept pounding on the dome surrounding the 2.

Discord looks down at Death Dealer and nods. Discord had no doubt that Death Dealer would get the job done. He had been watching him through Celestia's eyes for much of the time. He had one concern though. Death Dealer seemed unstable. He had a hunger for power Discord had not seen in centuries. With hunger came arrogance and with arrogance came mistakes. Mistakes were not tolerated. Very well Death Dealer. Go to Ponyville and seek them out. Kill them. Bring me back each and every one of their heads. With that Discord teleported back to the throne room where he sat down comfortably and watched the monitors contently.

 

A tear rolled down Celestia's cheek as Luna scolded her. Celestia simply looks away to conceal her tears. She never wanted for any of this to happen. It was the tyrant Discord... It all started one fateful morning...

Celestia had fallen ill. A deathly ill that rendered her nearly useless. She didn't have the strength to raise the sun, attend to her duties... or even stand. She could not let her sister see herself as such. This went on for days of her doing her duties until her body couldn't take it. She collapsed on the floor of her bedroom. Tears rolled down her face as she realised she just wasn't fit enough to move. This mysterious illness had rendered her completely incapable of physical or magical power. She lay there and accept her fate when she heard a voice in her head. A voice she had not heard in decades. The voice of the malevolent Discord rang in her ears. He promised her health and power to continue her daily routines and to be there for her people... for a price. He demanded that he be set free. Celestia simply thought he would roam for a little while until her and Luna stopped him. How wrong she was. She agreed with Discord and used what little magic she had left to release his soul upon the world. What happened next she did not expect. Instead of wistfully gliding into the world to wreck havoc, he stood in front of her. A demonic smile stretched across his face. He touched her forehead and she was given what she was promised but... but not for her to control. Celestia soon rose under the control of Discord. Celestia had come to realize that it was Discord himself who had cast the illness upon him. Not directly anyway. Discord had had someone on the inside but it did not matter now. All hope was lost.

Another tear rolled down Celestia's cheek as she turned back to Luna. Because I made a deal with the devil...

 

Boss turned around to see Shade/Darklash and Lightlash. He stares at them in puzzlement. How did they get here? Damn it... He then turns back towards Quillusion. Quillusion... As much as I don't want to kill you... I have to. These games are meant to end with death. It is tradition. I as a pony must honour the ancient customs of our ancestors and I feel you should do the same. I remember a time when ponies honoured tradition. When ponies wouldn't back down from a fight. When ponies would stand up and say I will fight because it is who I am. What I am. What I am is a fighter and I will honour my ancestors as such. However you make a good point. The others... The others are still part of these games... at least Shade is. Perhaps for the time being we can work towards one cause... defeating the evil that plagues Equestria. But promise me. Promise me when all of this is over. Us as the tributes of the final Hunger Games will respect our ancestors and complete these games the way they would have desired. If one cannot be honourable in these times than what is the point? With that he looks at a nearby camera. In a monotone yet stern voice he yells to Die Hard. Drop the shield Die Hard. There are more pressing matters to attend to. Boss doesn't know where any of this had come from. Something about these games... something about the games had awoken something inside of him. A kind of ancient flame that was burdened upon him by his ancestors. The flame.... of the Hunger Games.

"Boss, why is it that you wish to fight me, of all the ponies that made it to this game, why would you want to fight me." She asked. "Can you not tell that I am not a fighter, can you not see that I was not a fighter ever. I never fight Hank, I'm surprised I am still alive. But if you wish to take my life, then do it now. I would rather die now, then have to wait. So if you plan on killing me, do it!" The last part she screamed as she stood still.

Shade and Darkflash were hearing the conversation between Quills and Boss. Right after he spoke about the tradition, she got confused. Why was he agreeing with tradition about young, innocent ponies being thrown into an arena and forced to kill? True, he was a very loyal person to where he came from, but still!

"DIehard, this is Lightlash. Boss is requesting you to lift up the barrier."

"Please, sister, do not cry. We are only trying to find out what happened. We need to be able to defend our kingdom. Tell us how Discord escaped. No matter what happens, or already happened, we will not be angry with you." Luna laid down close to her sister and wiped her tears away.
