My Minecraft buildings thread.

Ok. I've been alot into Minecraft.

I am quite the Architect in Terraria, and now I recently started to play Minecraft alot of time, and started becoming a tri-dimensional architect. It's not very dificult when you are alreay used to the other two dimensions, (X and Y or Hight and Width) and getting used to the third one (Z or Depth) was quite easy.

Now lets go to what matters:

And soon I'll be ending that. Started building it about ten minutes ago (Sidelogs take some time to put straight D=).

 

By the way... I forgot to mention: That is the exoskeleton of a Norse Chiefetain's house.

Details--The map is superflat.

This was my attempt at building the Eyrie...Which I kinda failed at doing but it is still cool even if it doesn't look like the Eyrie.

 

 

I have also built a bunch of other things but this would be the one that took me longest.

Wow, that's very good it look's a bit cold from the outside though, hope there is a nice warm fire in the house

Good start!, you should post picture's of what it's like when it's finished , but make sure you don't accidentally burn it down when you come to put the fire in ><

Ok, yesterday I didn't came back to Minecraft after posting this thread here, but it is now complete.

And that is me again staring at you from the left side of the house(Inside of it ofcourse).

 

I am now creating more stuff, so please have patience until I post more stuff~

That looks pretty good! Are you using the John Smith texture pack? Or is it something else?

 

Also, have you heard of JamziboyMinecraft? he has a pretty rockin channel you might like

Ok, now I am working on a Japanese Castle. It is going to be complete still today.

 

Here is the base of it:

 

 

And possibly only about half an hour to build it, if I know what I'm doing.

Ok. I finished up the first floor. I know it looks weird with my current texture pack(John Smith).

It still has alot of transformation to look like what I desire, so you wont really see what you are seeing now.

To all those who said that I work fast(Not many though) the reason why I work this fast is because I am hyperactive, but I channel my hyperactivity to my brain, so it works way much faster than a normal person's brain. I can also channel it back to my body to type faster than I usually do.

 

And now, second floor complete:

 

 

One more floor, and then details remaining until this Japanese Castle is complete.

I think the only thing it is missing is the roof details, like how the roof curves upward at the corners, but so far this is looking good! Cant wait to see the finished product

That is going to be included in the details print screen, so it will be the last one

In about less than half an hour it will be complete

The real problem of doing that will be not knowing how is the back side and how is the inside of the house... because it will not be that hard to do the front. Thanks for the feedback and I'll start to build that after finishing building some Barracks I'm doing inside the walls of my city(Still under construction =P)

 

Ok. After Looking at the picture, I decided to make it scaled. Here is the base of it:

 

 

In my toughts, it looks like a fire flower power up from Super Mario... > n >

I discovered that it could be a little hard the inner circle, so I made the floor first.

Stupid rain ruined the image. It looks a bit too big in relation to the image, but I've been using it as reference, although it is not a good reference(Misses angles, and stuff).

Ok, I have done it, but I think I misunderstood the task... Heh.

Wow, although it may not look to round, it still look's really cool

 

The water fountain especially are really well done and from walking toward's it like in the last shot, it definatly look's inpressive

Making a Cathedral is hard, as you might know. I am going for a mixture of many Cathedrals spreaded by all of Europe.

 

Never thought this was so hard, and I just finished making the first tower, and the floor(Soon, paved!)

All this took me about a little bit of yesterday plus one and a half hour. ;D

 

Ok, here it is, some good stuff right from the furnace

 

 

That is the backyard without any rooftop.

 

I need some feedback though, becuase I have been quite tired of using the same materials over and over again... Could you guys tell me what other materials should I use?

That is the ruined back garden, which I misplaced it. And since I don't have MCedit, I'll have to destroy it and make it again in other place... Misfortunate moments for me.
